[News] Ravens Offensive Line Has Tough Opener

13 posts in this topic

"Offense Has A Tough Opener" is definitely the polite way to put it. I can think of several other choice words not fit for print. Either way, get it fixed offense, please.

Everyone is focused on Monroe going out and our pathetic T play. Im more concerned aboit our interior 3. Yanda had a plus grade according to pff and he didnt even deserve that. That is why Joe had no time and couldnt step into his throws. KO and Yanda can both take a walk next year if thats the BS theyre going to show.

As for the Receivers. Aiken has always been a bum. He would be a 4th or 5th on any other team he would actually make. Most teams he wouldnt even make the squad. The FO failed again to get Joe decent weapons. Besides TE. Sr is on his last ride, they knew that. Perriman has glass knees. Again knew that. So why didnt they go get Jones, or one of the other FA vets just at least as a stop gap. Nevermind the Marshalls and such that were available. Consistantly not giving needed weapons. The one time they did we won the SB and than traded him to SF for a pack of twizzlers. Stupid. Period.

No execuse for Joe's play yesterday even under pressure. He's been in the league 8 years and should know what to do. They need to be more innovative. The DB that picked us off at the end said he watched preseason game with that play. I thought for sure this was going to be Joe's year. I saw a new maturity and poise in him and I just knew this was the year he was going to prove the naysayers wrong. Alas this was not the case.

I am sure our O-line will improve.  I said during the game yesterday that I am still a bit worried about the health of our O-line.  They looked a tad slow and discombobulated yesterday.

We aren't always privy to full injury information as we can all attest to, ya know.  They were hit with injuries during TC and the pre-season and some were coming off surgeries in the offseason.  I don't feel they are all 100% or in football shape and for that reason they aren't in sync yet.  They really didn't play a lot together during TC and preseason due to the injuries.  The O-line is certainly one portion of the team that definitely needs to be in sync especially playing this type of zone offense.

Sorry Offensive Line but you all need to get into the weight room....that performance was straight dismal. Every play they bought smoke....surprised Flacco wasn't injured that game.
