[News] Game Recap: Broncos 19, Ravens 13

So as a fan since 1996....when are we going to get tired of the joe flacco hype?... I don't care if I get 1000 thumbs down. We need to be sick of his play, and overall decision making. You got paid 120 million dollars to be mediocre at best. He is way too inconsistent for my taste and I'm sick of watching the bs! Suggs out for the season really put the icing on the cake for me today. Expect a long season while our defense busts it's butt for 60 minutes everywhere. Meanwhile elsewhere in buffalo, where Tyrod Taylor showed the type of qb I always knew he could be.. Good for him.

Great game from defense. Can't wait to see Jernigan in the mix, and while Suggs is out, I'm excited to possibly see Zadarius. Offense played poorly, but we do have a decent amount of injuries on that side, and we were playing on of the nfl's top defenses. On to Oakland.

I am not as worried about losing Suggs as I am Monroe. I hope Suggs gets well soon, but I assume he will retire after this....great player and person. We need a speed receiver, if Perriman can't get well soon and produce, Ozzie needs to search high and low for a starter. We got out coached along with out played today....

The bigger loss was not this 1 game but the loss of Suggs. Suggs is the leader of this defense and it's heartbreaking but the defense will persevere and get the job done. Overall, I thought our defense was outstanding today. Offense will get sharper. All of Ravens Nation is sad to see our gladiator/leader end his season with an injury. CSN was mentioning Suggs possibly retiring after this injury but that's the last thing I want to hear right now. Just hope you can or will be able to come back next year Terrell and good luck in your recovery.

Harbaugh said it best. "There are things in life that happen. Adversity is all about how you respond to it. It's about how you react to it. And it's how you come back and play the next game, and how our young guys step up, and how our older guys wrap their wings around those guys, and how they play the way they need to play. That's what a team is all about".

Follow Harbaugh's lead, that is how we should respond to a lost as a Ravens fan. The Ravens fought hard today, in Denver at Mile High, no less and nearly came away with the win. We should be proud instead of hanging our heads. We win the next game at Oakland and possibly beat Bengals at home after that and we will be sitting pretty in 1st place in 2 weeks. That is how fast things can change. Be positive and rally our team to band together like brothers and sisters to fight on, the Ravens way.

Defensively, it's what we expected... Offensively, well, I guess it's what we kinda also expected! Bummer and a tough loss, time to move on and plan for Oakland!

It seemed like both defenses figured the other team out. All the Ravens had to do was cover the short pass, and all the Broncos had to was blitz every play. Also, I think Pitta would been able to catch that pass in the endzone that Gilmore didn't get a grip on.

Damn! A WINNABLE GAME. It was right there for the taking and another INTERCEPTION IN THE END ZONE.

can't do much when your getting pressured and the pocket is collapsing almost every single play. The receivers weren't even having time to get into their routes. He still gave us a chance to win on the last drive and threw 2 potential td passes that were dropped. I also wasn't too keen on the playcalling. We didn't throw any screens and didn't start throwing the ball to Gilmore until the last freakin drive. All in all our defense played their hearts out and kept a hall of fame quarterback and a very strong offense from scoring any touchdowns. The one thing we all were actually worried about is what we can come away feeling positive about. Except for Suggs ofcourse. Edited by January J

We obviously need perriman back badly. We had no deep threat. But either way joe couldn't get enough protection for the receivers to get 10 yards down the feild anyway.

OK, not a good offensive showing for a new OC, not even close. The offense was terrible. But if trying to split hairs and look deeper at the O . .gotta put the loss on Flacco. he threw 2 INT and they were costly. Yes Steve Smith should have caught that ball, but Flacco under threw the last INT, or that would have been a game winning play.

O-line or not, Flacco has to play better. That first interception was a horrible throw, and the second was just floated up there. He looked totally frazzled

JamesA19.....maybe u should try throwing with defenders hanging all over u....make no mistake, this was an O line fail....not a Flacco fail. Did u watch the game? Flacco was being hit, sacked , hurried all night.

Defense looks scary this year, got studs at so many positions that we could offset the loss of sizzle. Courtney Upshaw thankfully has enough experience to fill in his spot. Some of you guys wont like me saying this, but I will give the offense a pass. Simply because keep in mind the broncos have pro bowlers at each level. Honestly what did you expect. God I hope we romp in Oakland next week. I think we will. GO ravens!!!!

If you've been a fan since 1996 and is tired of watching Joe Flacco, then it's no way you're a fan of this team, nor are you knowledgeable about the game, this game was won and lost in the trenches, the Ravens oline didn't play well that has an affect on how the qb plays because they work in tandem, give him time and he'll produce its really that simple and has been proven time and time again, Joe Flacco is the qb of this team and he's a damn good one, he made a mistake but in no way shape or form is the loss because of him it's because collectively our offense was inept mainly in part to bad oline play, nonetheless the Ravens obviously showed that they're a good team and everyone should be inspired by the way they played today, this team is a force and I expect the offense to adjust and be just as good as the defense.

Well.....15 more to go and win, I kind of figured Kubiak knew how to break up our offense, and we had a good idea of what he brought. Almost pulled it off at the end. All in all in a hostile stadium with a top notch team in the heat....it could have been worse. GO RAVENS!

Here we go, blaming Joe again. Any quarterback who doesn't have time to throw is going to have trouble scoring points. The O-line failed today, it really is that simple. At least we had a shot at the end to win it.

Secondly to those who are bothered by the second Flacco interception, for starters it was a blatant pass interference, it should have been called, next joe Flacco has thrown that pass a plethora of times before to the likes of Dennis pitta and Anquan boldin the ball was put in a good enough spot for the bigger target in Gillmore to go up and high point the ball, if you want to be great in this league you have to catch the tough passes if your hands touched it which both of his did, it's expected that you catch it no excuses, plays have to be made and nothing is given.
