and if anyone has clinched playoffs I suggest grabbing up Pitts D or KC D if available and you have the room. We play both of them in the fantasy playoffs and I expect our offense to be atrocious without Flacco and Forsett.

Alfred Blue v Norleans or Devonta Freeman v Minnesota? I guess this is also a question of how you rank talent v the player's matchup.

I read straight after the game that things were looking good for him, but it seems that he didn't train today so that may make the decision (slightly) easier.

As to your question, I'd be rolling with Pitt if that were me. Looks like the Patriots have given the fewest points for D/ST units and I'd say Brady has been eyeing up this one for a while and will have a few extra things planned.

yeah I was kind of leaning that way. Just always hard not to start the leagues top D. Thanks

Alright make or break flex move right here could cost me a playoff spot.

Devante Parker against us ( who will be playing the #1 role) or Jeremy Langford vs San Fran ?

Need some wisdom guys.

If it's me I'd be leaning towards Parker. The Dolphins aren't getting a running game going against our front, so if they want to move the ball even remotely then they'll need to air it out. That and Tannehill seems excited about the personnel change, so there's always the chance they have a Detroit-like resurgence.

that's who I was leaning towards. Langford has just been old faithful for me every week putting up atleast 10+ . Plus going up against a weak San Fran. But I agree the phins are gonna have to air it out and our secondary obviously ain't so great either. Parker it is. Appreciate it.

TJ Yeldon @ TEN or Todd Gurley vs. ARI?

Both have tough run defenses. Gurley went over 100 against ARI last time, but a lot of teams are stacking the box now because of the QB play.

I was gonna start both, but made a boneheaded move to start Theo Riddick, thinking he might do well in my PPR format.

That is a tough one. I would say Gurley but Yeldon is getting good reception numbers. I don't see the Rams putting up a lot of points on Arizona and Arizona will probably stack the box like the Bengals but Gurley does find a way to get in the end zone more often. Probably safer to go with Yeldon but Gurley could provide more upside if he breaks a long TD run.

I know Parker had a decent game last week and has a good matchup against us, but man he has 8 catches on the season and 4 of those came last week, he got 10 targets last week which is good but I don't think I'd trust him at all.

2 of the following 4: J. Allen @ MIA, Miller v. BAL, Hillman @SD, Blue @ BUF

Yeah, I know ... that's quite a stable of horse manure at RB.

I'm leaning Allen and Hillman. I think I'm ruling Blue out ... but Miller has been tough to call. He's had a couple great games in the past several weeks, but his last 2 were disastrous. I know they have a new OC as of this week, who has claimed he'll be more committed to the run game. But I'm not that confident they'll do that well given their opponent's ability to stop the run (combined with their inability to stop the pass).

I'm not sure why you see Parker playing the #1 role. I'd think that is going to be Landry. I have Landry and I'm starting him with confidence.

Still, with Matthews out and with Parker showing continued improvement, I definitely think he's a better option than Langford, who I think will continue to see diminished touches as Forte has had further time to recover from injury.

Gotta love rotoworld's comment that "The Dolphins are just managing Landry's reps ahead of a mouthwatering matchup with the Ravens." - makes me sick to read such a thing.

adam schefter stated the other day that Parker will be playing the number 1 role. But that may have been before when landrys status was still up in the air due to his knee injury. Either way I think he will get plenty of targets and I don't trust our defense. Still hard to trust him though. Now that forte is healthy I was expecting him to take over the majority of carries but so far they've pretty much split the reps right down the middle and Langford is still outperforming him. Plus he's so good catching the ball and finding the end zone so he's usually good for atleast 10 points a game. Still leaning towards Parker hoping to hit the home run.

My worry is that Anderson is now going to be the back he was supposed to be all along. I drafted him, then carried the both of them, then got disgusted with Anderson and dropped him. Those darn Broncos RBs have been a thorn in my butt all season.

Still, I don't like Miller against us, so I'm going with that pair. Thanks and good luck to you this week!

Have a tough decision between Javorius Allen and Shaun Draughn. Allen has the better match up on paper but I feel like Draughn will continue to run away with touches. With Carlos Hyde, Reggie Bush and Mike Davis all shelved, he's gotten no less than 11 points in the last 3 weeks in my .5 PPR league. He has dominated the snap totals, missing just a handful in the last two games, which Allen saw just 36 of 61 last week. I may be wrong, but I'm concerned that Terrance West could take opportunities away from Allen. With Kelechi Osemele back, however, I feel like we'll have the better OL unit. I have Draughn over Allen at this point, though it's close. My other Flex starters are Alshon Jeffery and Jeremy Maclin. Started Eddie Lacy as my RB1 as I had no idea that he missed the curfew; nor did I have a clue that he'd be on the bench for the majority of the night due to the transgression.

if it was me I would definitely go Allen. There gonna be looking to build on what they got going last week with the running game and my guess is buck is going to get a lot of touches. Esp with Schaubs shaky performance and his knack for throwing interceptions. I expect a lot of dump off throws to him as well to get schaub in rhythm. Have a feeling he's gonna run wild down there in that Miami weather. I'm guessing he will end up with atleast 15 points. Only wish I had picked him up.

Right now, I wouldn't sit Allen for anyone except maybe the two four or five running backs in the league. He's going to keep being fed the ball, and he's making a lot happen on short passes.

Antonio Brown, DeAndre Hopkins, Allen Robinson, Brandon Marshall

Stacked at WR, a good dilemma to have. Need three, any suggestions?

First 3, I think.

I'm sure happy that's not your team vs me in JO_75's league.

Yeah, that's my 10 person league. I'm actually more proud of my play in JO's league. First time playing in a 16 team league. It was a nice challenge.

Alright I've got a lot of tough choices to make for this upcoming playoff matchup. Any feedback is appreciated.

1) Blake bortles against Indy or Fitzpatrick against the Titans ? Leaning towards bortles as he has been on fire as of late and is actually a top 5 scoring qb this year. The only thing is fitz has been extremely consistent.

2) James white vs, Texans , Jeremy Langford vs Washington, or gio Bernard vs. Pittsburgh ? Leaning towards white with his strong performance last week. Langford has also been consistent but forte is getting healthier and starting to heat up and gio has been shaky as of late and stuck behind Jeremy hill who gets most of the redzone carries and is more of the December afc north style bruiser.

3) gotta pick 2 out of Michael Floyd v Vikings , ammendola v Texans and devante Parker v Giants . Ammendola is pretty reliable considering he's one of the only healthy targets that Tom Brady can lean on. I also like the deepball matchup with Michael Floyd against the Vikings defense. Parker has heated up since he's gotten healthy and he will see a good share of targets as the #2- I'm just not so sure I trust tannehill. Gonna go with Doug Baldwin as my flex against our defense this weekend. Pretty much a no brainer here. He also has nearly 50 points in his last two games.

4) lastly- Austin Sefarian Jenkins against the sketchy saints defense or Scott chandler against a stout Texans d? Again, with chandler he will see a good share of targets with gronk being out , but the Texans d has been stingy to opposing tight ends. Jenkins is kind of an off the radar wildcard play. He has just returned into the lineup since week 2 but he is a strong safety net for Winston and I expect a big game out of almost anybody playing that saints D. Tough call though. Any thoughts?

well thanks for the feedback guys. Lol nah I know my post was a little long for most ppls liking. So I'm just gonna talk to myself for now. I winded up going with Floyd and I'm very glad that I did- he ended up with over 100 and a score. Still a little torn on going with ammendola over Parker but I just don't trust tannehill, and they have been trying to get their running game going. The only other choice I have to make now is James white or Jeremy Langford. I keep going back and forth.

1. Blake Bortles.

2. This one is tough. All of those guys are kinda by committee. Langford has been the most consistent. I feel like NE's backfield varies week to week.with that being said, he may be trying to avoid a Texans pass rush this week which would make White very valuable in the pass game, PPR. I'd roll with White. Kinda being used as a Dion Lewis type of player.

3. Solid play with Floyd. I'd probably go with Amendola. As you said, Tom doesn't have too many options to throw to and Amendola is a security blanket.

4. I'm actually riding with ASJ in two of my leagues.

All I can do is hope and pray our offense can generate SOMETHING today (other than pick-6s ... I know Schaub is out, but I'm not 100% convinced that Clausen won't implode either). I'm facing SEA D and Hauschka and am petrified that my team is going to lose it for me in the first round of my fantasy playoffs. This game has the potential for meltdown 20-30 point defensive scoring affair - the kind of thing you simply can't recover from.

I have Buck Allen and I also hate this matchup for him, but my alternatives are almost non-existent. I could use White of the Pats in his place, but we know the NE RB situation (no clue what you'll get ... so game plan dependent) or Hillman (DEN RB situation as been a near kiss of death for me all year).

Also facing Big Ben. Wow, what a way to start the playoffs. For both pure fan and fantasy reasons, I pray I survive this opening round.

that's a tough decision between white and Buck playing Seattle. I literally have no idea what I would do in that situation. Well the purple blood in me would probably roll with buck. I'm also facing a tough matchup this week against Tom Brady.

thanks , I had rolled with every single player you just listed- so that confirms things for me and helps me feel a little more confident.
