Who to start, Who To sit

Have a real RB problem this week it's between Ameer Abdullah,Vereen and Charles sims. Vereen has a great matchup but is so inconsistent if I start him I'm sure he'll have 0 catches if I don't he'll probably have 10+, Abdullah has the worst matchup and has been disappointing this entire season, sims has been consistent the last 3 weeks but can I expect to continue with a tough matchup?

Btw it's a PPR league

Shane Vereen or Charles Sims...both are passing downs gadget guys who don't get alot of touches but Ameer Abdullah hasn't done anything this year is borderline droppable is most leagues and with Joique Bell back this week against a tougher D hes harder to trust.

Vereen is probably the better option IMO

SSS @ AZ

Amari Cooper @ SD

Allen Hurns v. BUF

One of the 3. Hurns has been a good pick-up and bye week fill-in, but I think it is down to SSS and Cooper. I have been struggling between these two guys all year, always managing to start the wrong one, week after week.

I'd go Allen Hurns...Bills are projected to shadow Allen Robinson with top CB Gilmore, so I see potential and garbage time potential for either Allen this week.

Tough D bu Hurns has put up at least 60 Yards or a TD in every game this season and has TDs in 4 straight games since week 3.

Do you guys think Doug Martin vs the Skins can match or get close to the points Davonta Freeman will get against the Titans?

Skins looked to have the best run D in the league in weeks 1-4. Week 5 Devonta Freeman ran on em for 27/153/1, and last week Chris Ivory went 20/146/1 against em. So if that trend continues, Martin could do just as you question.

I still say the Skins are a good bet to keep Martin in check this week yards wise but he is still TD hopeful.

Freeman on the other hand has looked like the second coming of LT out there and is averaging 25 pts per game. He is a good bet for at least 80 total Yards and a score against virtually any defense. And he gets the Titans this week who got gutted by Lamar Miller last week.

I'd narrow it to Hoyer/Fitzmagic and probably go Hoyer, he and Nuk Hopkins have a great chemistry and Hopkins is absolutely destroying opposing defenses.

Could also throw Fitzmagic in the mix too, Brandon Marshall and Decker have played well so far this year but Fitz is harder to trust and they are a running offense with Ivory.

Okay I narrowed it down to Hoyer or Carr. I feel like Carr will def be in a shootout with Rivers.

Allen Hurns, Allen Robinson or Antonio Brown? How legit are buffalo's corners.

Brown I'm not sure with if he doesn't have ben at QB

everytime I think SSS is gonna have a down game he just comes out and kills it. My gut says cooper and I see SSS not doing much. So you know what to do.

Yeah - the only game that SSS has disappointed in was vs. PIT when he got hurt and left the game. He's just starting to feel like a must start week in and week out, no matter the situation. We just rely on him so heavily and our defense gives up so many points - that's a recipe for a good fantasy day for SSS (even thought it has been a recipe for a bad Ravens day ...).

Going to start John Brown vs the Ravens. First time in my 7 years of playing fantasy I start someone vs us. Shame.

Didn't have the heart. Took him out for Benjamin which I now regret. My gut led me wrong

I screwed myself bad this week. Made 3 lineup changes at the last minute and it ended up costing me a 16 point swing. Should've just left the damn thing alone.

I've got interesting one this week.

Leading by 17. Opponent has D. Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald and C. Catanzaro. I have Steve Smith, Tucker and a choice of QB Flacco or Palmer. Going all-in on Ravens, Palmer will be benched.

Personally I'd put Palmer in there. Every time Fitzgerald gets points, you'd be getting points too.

Yeah but this way I'll be getting points every time Steve Smith catches.

But that doesn't matter if Palmer has more points than Flacco does it? Who do you think will score more between the 2?

No idea really. If Joe takes good care of the ball and doesn't get picked, they are on par this season. Don't think the difference will be huge either way.

Since you're in the lead, the worst thing that can happen is Fitz goes off and reels you back in. But with Palmer in there, if he does go off you should be able to score enough points to keep your nose in front.

Turned out to be non-event, so I increased a lead little bit.

Flacco 14.08 (Palmer 19.20)

Steve Smith 7.80

Tucker 4.00

Fitz 3.90

Catanzaro 7.00

D. Johnson 2.40

Not bad, I am used to the 16 team league and the points being way higher lol

5 WRs for 3 spots in a standard league:

TY Hilton @CAR

B Cooks vs Giants

S. Smith vs Chargers

S. Johnson @BAL

J. Maclin vs DET

Leaning toward Cooks, Senior and Stevie Johnson

Also L. Murray vs Jets or Eddie Lacy vs Denver? Reason says Murray but gut feeling is Lacy finally has a good one. RB1 is Ivory.

I feel like Smith and Maclin would be my top choices. Hilton could go off, but I'm considering sitting anyone who's facing Josh Norman and company. Maybe Cooks for the other? He's been inconsistent though, so perhaps I would tentatively start Hilton.

Tough call on the latter. Both have tough, tough match ups. Might lean towards Lacy.

Yep, Panthers D, Norman in particular, is the reason I'm most likely benching Hilton. Luck still seems to be off after that shoulder he had, as well.

Maclin coming off concussion, going after bad secondary but has A. Smith to catch from. Johnson has Rivers and going vs you know who. It's a dilemma.

I like Maclin because he was cleared and able to play last week but was sat as a precautionary measure. Matthew Stafford has been a man on a mission in these last few games, so the Chiefs could be forced to play from behind. I'm just not sold on Johnson seeing enough looks out of the group, even with Antonio Gates likely sitting. He could sneak in about 70 yards and a score, but I don't like his floor.

You're probably right. None of them gives me too much confidence really - might be better idea to play my RB3 at R/W/T spot.

Thoughts on a flex for a non-PPR league? I've got Brandin Cooks, Dez, Antonio Andrews (against the Texans, who've given up the 5th most points against the run), or Alfred Blue/Chris Polk. One of the two WRs will occupy a WR slot too. I feel like it's between Dez and the two RBs (Polk's more for later in the season if he becomes the backup).

PPR league.  I have Marvin Jones or Amendola in the flex.  I have a feeling I should leave Jones in, but think Amendola could go off.

Something is telling me not to start Jarvis Landry tonight

Kinda scared to start both Landry and miller against NE on a short week

Have Landry Jeffrey martavis Bryant and Diggs... Robinson is on a bye

League is custom scoring but basically PPR style for WR's

I think that's who BB takes away and the front 7 neutralizes Miller.

If I didn't have to play Landry, I wouldn't.

Landry gets a ridiculous amount of targets though and not sure if Bryant can do better without a TD than what Landry will do
