Week 1 - Baltimore Ravens at Denver Broncos

Have to catch the damn ball when your QB has less than 2 seconds to throw

But sure it'll all be flacco's fault

Yeah, this was not on Flacco. He had nothing to work with.

our defense was great offense  was shakey til that last drive.   we need the o line to protect better then joe would have eaten them alive the entire game

Flacco put it all together in the end and his receivers just let him down. Disgraceful and extremely predictable. Everyone with any sense said during the offseason the receiver corps wasn't good enough.

really? i seem to recall everyone swearing that marlon brown and kamar aiken were the answers to our prayers

All that hard fought crap for nothing

Meh. I predicted 31-17. Much better than expected, but still Trestman showed he ain't no Kubiak and Joe continues to fail when elevating those around him in regular season.

Considering that we lost our LT and didn't have our speed out on the outside, I thought we stood our ground against Peyton.  We made it tough on them and could've walked away with a win.  People are going to freak out over the season, but we should be fine, just need to get healthy.

I'm not blaming refs but that was purely faceguarding. The defender NEVER looked for the ball and was all on Gillmore

I said same thing and I'm saying it because I'm sure we will get it called more than a few times this year.

Can someone explain to me how that's not faceguarding? These refs were awful with the coverage calls

It could have been called but they will rarely call something so close like that when the game is on the line. Can't be mad about the no-call there IMO.

Int hurt bad... Just gets old... 8 years now and still no explosive weapon for your franchise QB

Please if smith or Gilmore catch those passes , would you be complaining now .

Back up your mouth Steve....

Don't turn over the ball Joe.. And we win the game

You got a point. If you talk the talk you have to walk the walk

WE deserved to lose that and honestly I am glad we did, it showed a lot of weaknesses that have to be adressed or we wont be in the playoffs this year.

Dude its football.  The Broncos didn't do a whole heck of a lot more to prove they deserved to win.

Already predicted we miss the playoffs. 9-7, but defense played much better than I expected today and offense was much worse.

Meeting up with Denver again in the playoffs again will be perfect. Just like the SuperBowl year. Let's beat them when it counts the most.

Hate to be the Debbie downer but the way Suggs foot being awkwardly and how he limped as if he couldn't walk, I'm unsure of what foot it was when it happened the first time, but it looked like an Achilles injury to me at least.

No playmakers and a pretty horrible oline. I'll give the oline a pass since Denvers front it nasty. We have little offense, though.

After the camps and pre-season we had, I didn't have high expectations to begin with, and was still hugely disapponted.

If the O doesn't somehow find something - and soon - we're in for a 16 game season... The Broncos were about as good as the Browns usually are - and we still found a way to lose.
