Week 1 - Baltimore Ravens at Denver Broncos

2,365 posts in this topic

It's finally here - Game Day! A new beginning...

A new chance for some of our veterans to bury their demons.

A new chance for others to build on the name they are making for themselves.

A chance for our rookies to embark on building their own legacies.

It all begins today at Denver. Enjoy the ride!

Rocky Mountain rainbow 2.0 coming up!

GO RAVENS!!!

Nice!   My boys called this the Rocket Launcher.  I also had the Washing Machine and The Plunger in my repertoire. The Plunger became unpopular after a while and had to be retired.   lol

IMO, Suggs and Doom are not the answer for presuring Manning. I honestly feel the best way to get to Manning is sending a DB close to the line of scrimmage. Similar to what we saw Brooks do during the preseason.

This has to be the least nervous I've felt for a Week 1 game in a very long time.

Would love to come out with a win today, but looking at our schedule, I don't think this is a must win game for us.  As long as we come out of the first 7 games with a winning record, looking at the rest of the AFC North I think we have a very good shot at getting into the playoffs, and with a relatively weak AFC this year we could potentially go pretty deep in the postseason.

We are so due for a home playoff game but can't get ahead of myself, one game at a time and no major injuries

Fall is in the air, football is on tv, and kids are back in school.  I'm so happy the bright, hot summer is over.

since most people or "experts"  picked against us, we will WIN.

I think it's typical Raven's fashion to win these against "all odd's" games.  Although it's a non divisional opponent in Week 1, winning against the bronco's and breaking the 0-10 streak against manning in the regular season means a lot to me.

We're gonna beat them.  Shock the experts and solidify our place as dominator's if the AFC.

I think folks are afraid...  LOLOLOL...

It's tough sometimes to find what might be considered an appropriate pool....  This one is cute.

You got that right. There were a couple times I had the opportunity to post a first game day photo but chickened out because I was afraid of getting bashed for the wrong kind of photo. lol
