Sunday can't get here soon enough. Tired of all this talk and negative tone coming from national and local media. Serving crow around 7:30 - 8:00 on Sunday

Always loved the players that had to work extra hard (blue collar type), hoping this year Aiken forces Madden to re-evaluate their grades (and hair styles) lol

Aiken went through 15 transactions on multiple teams in 2 years and gets his first start on Sunday. Daniel Brown, getting cut today will not determine your future in the NFL. All is not lost. Like Aiken and Forsett, persevere, believe in yourself and keep grinding. Congrats to you, Kamar Aiken in you first NFL start. You have EARNED this opportunity.

I think Aiken is going to be awesome, terrific, marvelous, and a great replacement for Torrey Smith. O" he averages one catch per game in three years? NEVER MIND.

I'm sure he has a big chip on his shoulder and ready to prove himself. Relax and show the pundits you are a starter and lets kick some Bronco butt. Go Ravens!!!

can't make catches when your buried on the depth chart and aren't thrown to. If you wanna speak on his catch % then talk to me. He has some of the best hands on the team and has earned his position. But enough talk, we will see who produces and who doesn't after the first 4 games or so.

Sounds like last year, just a different position. There was a lot of chatter about the Ravens having to start "journeyman" Justin Forsett at running back...Now the same with "journeyman" Kamar Aiken at receiver. Let's all hope it all works out like it did last year! GO RAVENS!

I am still confused as to people saying Steve Smith Sr. will start on the opposite side of Aqib Talib.... Chris Harris Jr. is by far their best corner as he is a top 6-7 cornerback I think he will start against our best offensive weapon. Honestly I don't think any of our receivers eclipse 50 yards in this game because of the Broncos solid defense, but I do think that Flacco completes 30-50ish yards to about 3-4 receivers so I think we will be fine. If he distributes the ball well like in the play offs last season I think we will be fine. Hopefully we can get a quick lead and have Forsett run out the clock. Defense needs to step it up big time in this game.

Why hasn't the Ravens gotten after the league for the pile drive play? If it were the Ravens who had done that you can bet your sweet bippy something would have happened. Stinks real bad to me. Lucky there was no damage done to our player.

The NFL doesn't report In game fines to the public/media.  The only way we find out is if the player appeals it or makes it known to the public.  I'm guessing the NFL did fine him, but we didn't hear about it.

If they did I'm sure the other 31 teams would come and say that the Ravens are babies and Harbaugh is a baby. That is what they did with the now illegal plays used in the play offs against us. Even one of the referees who was related to Kraft or Belichick I cannot remember said during the game he thought he should have stopped the plays to have the Ravens adjust to the offense. I'm surprised he didn't get fined. Along with some terrible calls in the preseason I really hope this isn't showing a glimpse of hate we will see all season.

He never had dreads as a Raven and I'm not sure he had them since being in the NFL.

Exactly what that guy was pointing out. Aiken never had dreads but Madden 16 mistakenly gave him dreads when the game released for the first couple weeks. Now they fixed it. It was really weird playing as the Ravens and seeing Aiken catch it thinking it was young Torrey Smith.

Go Ravens

Lets see how he does when the "Lights are on" I seen what Brown can do under preasure. All I seen from Aiken was him trying to run sideways. I just don't see that "Boldin" look in his eyes.

It's kind of a myth that teams consistently put their top corner on the top WR.  The only corner who ever did that consistently was Revis.  The reason why is that when you put your best CB on their best WR, it's basically a push.  Not even Chris Harris will be able to effectively shut down Steve Smith.  What you do instead is you put your best CB on their number 2, and then you put your no. 2 CB on their no. 1 and provide help with a safety/slot CB/ILB depending on if you're in man or zone and what routes are being run.

Yeah I know best receiver is usually double covered by a linebacker/safety and their number 2 corner but Harris is such a good corner to be honest I bet he could limit Steve Smith all day. I love Steve but Harris is also a stud. As the defensive coordinator in Denver I would almost want to limit how many players were on Smith to shut down the run if at all possible.

he came through against a tough pats defense in the playoffs last year And also on the last play against San Diego that could have won us the game if we had a timeout. And that very well could have been the difference in us getting in the playoffs if not for Kansas City. So he has came through in the clutch before , and that was in the little oppurtunities he was given. Your basing your judgment a little but too much off of the preseason games. Other than that there is such a small sample size you have no basis for saying you don't see the "boldin" in his eyes. He took a pretty big hit in the red skins game when he got piledrived and got right back up, so I'm not doubting his toughness. Edited by January J
