[News] Who's Practicing, Who's Not vs. Broncos

25 posts in this topic

Watching Manning play I'm not worried at all about our secondary and with the horrible line and RBs that are behind him I don't see why we won't blow them out of the game like the Hawks did a few years ago. We just can't afford to let him dink and dunk it all the way down the field. Make him attempt those deep passes and give time for our great Defensive players to come up with those INTs. I for one see us having a Monster game Sunday and I will be chanting the O's in the middle of Buffalo Wild Wings surrounded by Seahawks fans. Speaking of them I can't wait until we dominate them at home and shut up their annoying fans.

Sucks Perriman won't play, but that deep pass to Marlon in the atl game was an indication that he can be a deep threat. Hes big but has surprising speed, hes gone deep before ,so until Perriman returns I think Marlon will be able to hold it down.

Dr Scott Adams on 1057 last week preseason week 4, MD Orthopedic Center. Said from what he knew of Perriman knee it was a PCL Strain,Sprain which majority cases heal on its on 4-6 weeks.

Well if the DR is correct, which I will believe since thats only info I have to go off, its been 5 weeks now from July 31st when Perriman went down. All of August, and first week of September.

So if this holds true to the time table Perriman should be back no later then next week. That'll be 6 weeks. Atleast to run deep routes

It would be awesome if jernigan could play. He's this team's best pass rushing interior lineman. Denver's line is pretty weak up the middle so he'd probably dominate. If not, this could be an amazing debut for carl davis.

Go Ravens!

Per the depth chart, KLM is the next man up if Jernigan doesn't play.

"Head Coach John Harbaugh called the injury "not overly serious," but didn't put a timetable on his return."

Not a timetable, but he also said it wouldn't risk his week#1 status...

Seems like injuries tend to heal slower in Baltimore?

is anyone else kind of happy that melvin might not be playing sunday, i mean we all remember how he played against brady i would much rather his rebound game be against derrick carr not Peyton Manning, someone who might not see the wide open reciever down the field, compared to the person who put up 7 touchdowns against our superbowl roster

Ahh, ok. Hopefully carl gets some time too, though. Since they rotate linemen often, he could see some action.

Why not just sign ray rice ? he already knows the system , he would probably be welcomed . I just don't trust Mcgee, Tal. and Buck-allen behind Justin forsett. It just doesn't make sense. He's pay'd his dues, learned from his mistake. I just don't know about this year.

jernigan cant stay on the field, a good player but he is injury prone a common theme for Ravens players.

Its the gernerational thing. They don't make them like they use too.

I have no confidence in Timmy staying healthy

He'll be part of the 4 Musketeers Webb, Perriman, and Campanaro watching from the bench.

All year long we are gonna hear the same old song. Perriman has proven nothing. He was a pass dropper in college, and, to date, has done nothing to make us believe he will be any better in the NFL. Jurnigan is a shame, but he is another one of these guys who can't stay healthy. I wish him the best. We really need him with Ngata gone, but I sure wouldn't bet on him.

Relax on Perriman. The Burner will be back when he is healthy. Most importantly is that the entire offensive line is back and healthy which makes Perriman not able to play easier to absorb because a healthy offensive line means Flacco will have more time to throw as well as create a running game to throw off Denver's defense. Including the tight ends and running backs, we got ample passing options. Throw in Waller here and there and use his speed to force them to keep safeties further back. Offense looks good. Am not worried.

So far, to me, Buck Allen has been a disappointment. I haven't seen anything to warrant the excitement I read on here following the draft. Actually, Magee has looked much better, in my opinion. I just hope that one of them, at least, proves to be adequate when taking snaps for Justin to get his breaks.

They need to scope Jernigan's knee and figure out why he can only play 4 or 5 games in a row before he has to sit for a couple. That's not normal and the sooner we fix it the sooner we have him for a playoff run. We need the pressure he generates or it is going to be a long season for our secondary.

I'm thinking Jernigan suits up Sunday. They may limit his action but he will give it a go. Don't wanna risk him reinjuring it but we need him on the feild. KLM can hold down the fort though if not. Really wish tali was back too, but I'm thinkin him and perriman won't be ready until our home opener where we will absolutely light it up. I think Magee will fill in nicely and definitely take the #2 spot from Allen who's not quite there yet and needs a lot of grooming. I actually think that magee might perform so well that there will be a tough decision to make whether to keep him on the roster once tali returns. He runs north and south and runs hard without playin around, which is what we need to compliment Forsett.
