I have frequently have had problems with the press conferences volume so low I can't hear them. Can they please record at a higher volume? No, I do not have a hearing problem (in case you wondered. LOL). This has actually happened a lot with my computer volume all the way up.

Hey there! We mess around a bit with audio during press conferences in order to hear both the reporters questions and the mic, and not get double feedback on both ends. To make a very long story short, there are two channels for audio - one for the mic and one for everything else. We turn down the mic audio during reporter questions so we can hear what they are asking, and we turn it back up during answers to filter the background noise out. So basically, we are flipping audio channels every time a question is asked.

It's an issue we're working through, so stick with us! A potential solution in the meantime is to use headphones. The audio is a lot crisper.

Thank you for the feedback!

Thanks Mod 2. This is not a new problem for me being too low in volume. Yesterday's was the worst though.

I can never hear reporters asking questions. I usually have no problem with the players.

Sometimes the other audio channel is dead with the players microphone. The same issue haunted almost every press conference last year. I'm glad that something has happened, now it's not a regular problem. I have had this issue with PC and phone.

Hi there! I'm going to post my reply from above and run through it again:

To make a very long story short, there are two channels for audio - one for the mic and one for everything else. We turn down the mic audio during reporter questions so we can hear what they are asking, and we turn it back up during answers to filter the background noise out. So basically, we are flipping audio channels every time a question is asked.

The reason why the right channel is dead for you is because we are turning that channel off during certain portions of the press conference. We are looking for a better solution for the issue of filtering out background noise, but for the time being, we have to manually switch. I'll work with our streaming crew and see if we can't get the audio on point. But please be patient with us. I promise we are working on it.

Ok. So you are using one channel per one mic. I was thinking that, but why? Should be very easy to handle the sound with a small mixing table. I thought there might be something wrong with a mixing table or with the channels or maybe wires etc. Well I hope it gets easier for you guys/girls in the future.

During press conferences, I get a LOT of garbled sound.  I have a 50mbps wired connection, so I know it's not the speed or connection. The audio is a mess.  It's basically unlistenable when live, but seems to be better once the recording comes out.
