I didn't watch "Hard Knocks" but my buddy did and said James played cornerback and running back. He played on both sides of the ball and is possibly a kick returner as well. Talk about filling a lot of holes with one guy. I guess if he flashes enough, Magee is liable to go to the practice squad and they may promote him. He is interesting without a doubt.

James looks extremely quick when they put him on offense, and he broke a long run in one of the preseason games. I think if he looks decent as a returner, he may be called up as a reserve DB and KR, especially once Campo tweaks his calf in the first half of game 1.

Love hearing Texan fans talk about getting their leftovers. Tom me, doesnt matter who we get a player from, Baltimore always gets the more or the best out of their guys. Its a Balitmore thing i guess. Just like when we lose a player to another team, they never seem to do as well. ...It says something about how this organization runs...again a Baltimore thing.

To you my friend, I would argue that if our trend of 19+ players on IR from a year ago continues (6 of which were DBs) then this pick up is far more than next to nothing.. its more like.. next in line.. As we will go to our practice squad for a replacement before peaking at the Free agent list and/or proposing trades.

I predict Magee will be on active roster until Taliaferro can return. Then he'll be waived and hopefully added to practice squad and James will be moved to 53 man roster. There probably won't be too many return opportunities in Denver considering their thin air and relatively high temperatures so return man won't be essential in week 1.

I wouldn't worry about what they say. Didn't they sign Ed Reed to a huge contract only to play him in a few games and then eventually cut him. Not sure I would trust the decision makers over there.

Wouldn't expect him to. If he doesn't believe in himself then who will? From what I saw of him on Hard Knocks Maybe he'll be able to contribute on special teams.
