Next up: Denver Broncos

This game is probably the toughest game to call of the year as is most week one games but this one could end up helping or hurting us come playoff time for home feild advantage, both teams offense is going through a change and nobody in the nfl world really knows what to expect except the fact that manning is always sharp early in the season while joe is better in january. Which scares me, i really think it come down to flacco vs denvers secondary and peyton vs ours, im worried flacco has fluko game and cant take advantage of their poor safties with no deep threat. But if flacco somehow magically takes this game as serious as a playoff game and plays like he did in the first half of the patriots game(who had probably as good if not better a defense than denver, and he hardly even went deep yet still tore them apart) then we win by maybe 10 and make a statement that we can be a true contender. But its all in flaccos hands, just dont pull a fluko and lose this game for us. It would be awesome to see us make a statement early. Its on you flacco, and this one counts for us all season. SHOW UP!

Jernigan is back at practice, according to Jeff Zrebiec.

Awesome news had to see it for my self but a good sign. If he plays i hope they dont use him too much and just put him in to pressure manning up the middle

Interesting Vegas has the over/under at a lofty 53. They are seeing a very high scoring game for two good defenses and questionable offenses. Interesting.

Not a completely unreasonable number. If you look at last season (although this isn't last season), these two teams combined average PPG would be 55.7. Even PPG allowed combined would be 41.0, which is probably more than most people would think.

I'd take the under, but its not an easy line to take.

Are you serious? 3 guys can keep a secret if 2 of them are dead. Perriman is not some superman waiting to be unveiled. I didn't like the draft pick. Felt we should have kept Torrey, Jacoby and Haloti and we wouldn't be in this big of mess.

Hate seeing stuff like this online as if they salary cap can be turned off like in Madden.

Those three players (counting for simply matching Torrey's contract) add another 11M to our salary cap.  As asked already, who do you cut to get that 12M?  And if you answer this question, please make sure you research who CAN be cut to save money as Pitta, Elam, and Webb aren't options (sadly this is how people on other sites have responded to this question).

Great news about Jernigan

Who is that one person that always hits the green arrow on your post? Lol it's never 2 or 3 it's always just 1. I think you way have a personal admirer lol.

I do agree on the interior push. Not just Timmy but rotating him, Davis and KLM will be huge because it'll be a different style of interior pass rush coming all game and interior push is the best way to slow down quick passes.

Even though Jernigan returned to practice, he was a limited participant.

As is the case with all injury comebacks. It was never going to be full..never is with any injury. Lets see how he does tomorrow.

I had a feelin the big man would make it back in time for week 1. Just hope he's not rushing it and risking further injury. That being said this is huge. I also didn't believe it either until I saw it for myself. He will be ready to go Sunday and hopefully will put a hurtin on manning. This is a potential game changer.

Kinda worried about our #2 cornerback. I haven't heard anything about Webb and Melvin is injuried and won't be playing this game. If Webb comes back crappy we're screwed unless Walker suddenly goes super saiyan and steps in.

I'd settle for him going Kaio-ken.

Knee sprains are very tough for the players in the trenches. I hope he's able to play but more importantly I don't want him to play unless he's 100% healthy. Man he is a player that can be a difference maker on our defense, and it is a really long season.

What's life like in Happy Dreamland? Is it fun to play make believe all the time?

Don't play him unless he is at least mostly healed. Besides, if the team doesn't have a backup player capable of playing as good as one that's injured then there are problems on the horizon. We need to trust the backups!

I wouldn't call him a bandwagoner. Someone who's a bandwagoner blindley would follow the team and not openly(and constantly) criticize it.

And is he ever right about the outcome? Fine, Elam, whatever.

Have some faith in the boys. I think there is a massive possibility we lose but will stick through thick and thin

If you criticize 95% of all our draft picks you're bound to be "right" once in a while. That isn't smarts, that's just casting a wide net of criticism.

I was critical of Mosley...

And I was wrong.

I want to be wrong. Don't you think I would love to see Ravens holding Lombardi ? Lets see who is in dreamland Sunday. Besides whats wrong with dreamland?  I see you are spending time there as well. I kinda like it myself. :baltimore-ravens:

Triple Kaioken attack might win him the game ball.

My boy Von Miller's about to go Kaioken x100!

+ 1 for all of you(yes even the Broncos fan) for the awesome DBZ references!
