Ravens 73

Broncos 3

Man, you are insane to make such a prediction, you are way off.  What makes you think the Broncos will even score?

This will be the first game of the season so I really don't know what to expect in the way of performance. I will guess that Denver's priority is shutting down the run (1) and taking away SSS (2).

Sounds crazy but I believe the offense I will struggle greatly..I want to root for Forsett but I wanted us to sign him 5 years ago lol. I don't see him doing it again. Aiken NEEDS to ball out! It's real now...Our D will show up.

Tucker will be very active.

We lose in a close one. Unless our D just downright smothers them.

Ps.Pees blows. Defense is good because the players that play on it.

Maybe we've had Perriman practicing behind closed doors and nobody knows about it.  :th_327321_Spy_23x22:

As much as I would like to dismiss your thought as wishful thinking, I am fantasizing about that precise outcome! LOL

Looking more and more like no Jernigan for this one. Guess we'll find out in a hurry what we have in KLM and Carl Davis.

I think Forsett is prime for another pro bowl season or just a great season regardless. He may be 30 years old but he doesn't look like he has lost a step at all. Some reports say he look younger rather than older.

Luckily for us, a loss in this game isn't really all that bad.  If we can't beat Denver, I doubt anyone in the AFC North will be able to either (though the Steelers and Bengals play them late in the season, so that might factor in).

I would be surprised and elated if we win.  If we lose, so be it, we lost to one of the best teams (on paper) in the NFL.  I have no issue with that.

Jernigan missing the game will be huge as inside pressure will be very much needed against Peyton.

I just can't get over harbs saying this about perriman 2nd day after his injury

'' It's nothing, he wanted to go today but we just want to make sure, only a few days and he'll be fine''

i don't feel we have been told the whole story.

Who cares? Let's move on. Lied to or not, this discussion about Perriman is old. He'll be on the field when he's on the field. Nothing new was released about his injury to discuss it.

Dude... Seriously. It's not like this injury will cost Breshad his career. I know he didn't like him already. But wow. He's being stupidly picky.

Oh what the hell. I quit. He wins.

Did you ever stop to think that maybe it turned out to be much worse than first thought?  And why do you feel that we are owed accurate, up to date info on a players injuries?  The Ravens are not the only team that keep such things close to the vest.

Water under the bridge Sami.  Harbs is not a doctor, and I think this has taught him that he has zero skill in predicting when a player will be back from injury.  Hopefully he doesn't bother talking to the media about timetables ever again.

Its frustrating as fans not being able to know the full story, but if we are aware of what is going on then so are our opponents.  In my mind its better for us not to know (and by virtue, our opponents) so that our team can force other teams to gameplan (or not gameplan) for a player who may or may not end up being in our lineup come gameday.

The annoying thing about this Perriman injury is the fans acting like it's the end of his career or, as seen above, like they are personally owed an accurate and up to date report.

If you're still losing sleep over the injury, tell yourself he'll be back in week 8.  That way your mind can be at piece now and when he comes back before that you can get extra excited

I know. I'm sick of people complaining about his injury. It's old news. A valid complaint would be we never should've got rid of Ankwan Bolden.

Reasonable spread of 70. Talk to Vegas about it.

Exactly

Have some confidence and what makes it so insane.  We have Flacco!

Are you serious? 3 guys can keep a secret if 2 of them are dead. Perriman is not some superman waiting to be unveiled. I didn't like the draft pick. Felt we should have kept Torrey, Jacoby and Haloti and we wouldn't be in this big of mess.

Interesting Vegas has the over/under at a lofty 53. They are seeing a very high scoring game for two good defenses and questionable offenses. Interesting.

I feel like the should be offensive slug fests turn out to be high octane offensive battles usually

Someone has no understanding of cap space

Who would you give up for those 3 players?  Wouldn't have been able to sign Jimmy or Will Hill if we had kept either Torrey or Haloti.

Just because you want something doesn't mean its possible for you to have it.  Using your logic we should have just signed Revis and Demaryius Thomas...because who cares that we have to be under the cap.
