Oh. I thought they were talking about how this board precieves a single loss. My bad

Either way you are spot on.

When we're not playing, the Red Zone is my go to channel. Just my preference though. I enjoy watching the snippets of all of the games without having to change the channel. It's also great that there's no commercials. As far as the rest of your comments are concerned, that is EXACTLY HOW I FEEL! There's nothing more to add to what you said. You said it perfectly.

Red Zone is the way to go. You get to see all the scoring oppurtunities and if its not a redzone TD you get an immediate replay.

I'm just not a big highlight guy and by highlight i mean scoring drives or the results of plays. I like to actually see how plays were set up and the chest match between the 2 teams and coaches. I like to see how the olines, dlines and the entire teams are performing. To be honest I get more more excited about a key 3rd down that swung the momentum of a game or seeing how teams handle pressure situations then seeing a TD scored. That's why i love shows like NFL Matchup, Playbook and NBC's the Turning Point became one of my favorites last season. Also Sunday Ticket has 30 minute replays of evey game that shows every single play with not timeouts, commercials or half-time. Redzone always makes me feel like i'm missing out. Lol. I think I'll watch the Bills vs Colts game to see how Rex and Tyrod fare together.

True, maybe Arrington being in the slot makes that type of difference. I liked Brooks quite a bit pre-draft, I do want to see him out there again though before I get too excited as FS is a challenging position. Serious lack of good safeties coming out of college right now although I did like the range Brooks had.

Yea Brooks is actually listed behind Levine on the depth charts right now so i don't know how much he'll play in this game. But i do think that he'll eventually start seeing some snaps and he'll be allowed to use his speed amd play making abilities on blitzes and other areas. I'm a huge Noles fan so i'm biased but Brooks is a stud imo and will not be kept off the field for long.

Always love tuning into redzone around 3:30 when it is just exciting finish after exciting finish

I understand where you're coming from. Don't get me wrong, if there's a game that really interests me, then I'll watch the game. I guess this is where we differ, but it is what it is.

No knock to Lewis because i haven't seen enough of him to say how good he will or won't be. But i think he's just keeping the seat warm for Brooks and unless Lewis just balls out at an pro bowl level, i see Brooks taking over that position permanently around Week 10.

Look at the depth chart they released. Brooks is behind Levine. He's not starting any time soon.

Meaning the season might be over tomorrow. Then we shall commence with the hiring and the firing and criticizing our GM. And then people will say, "we picked the wrong QB".

Please win

prepare for disappointment. This broncos team has less weaknesses than any other team i can think of in the NFL

they had 20 sacks in pre season..20! with jackson, ray (who we wanted..dont buy the FO lie on that),Ware,Miller and with an excellent secondary (top corner in the league chris harris jr)

there offensive line is now a lot more stabalized with mathis.

they only have 1 weakness ..right tackle and maybe TE as daniels is getting up there in age.

the problem with flacco is when he is under pressure he makes terrible mistakes.

he will be under pressure in this game..a lot.

Debbie Downer in disguise . Many QB's make terrible mistakes when under pressure . Please see the Ravens -Patriots

Playoff game where we destroyed them . Game was over in the 1st quarter. I don't recall but Brady must have had

at least three picks .

And during commercial you can switch it to the Redzone.lol. I do know what you're saying but after knowing the outcome the game loses its excitement to me. Go Bills!!!

Well both teams will know each others offense but the only advantage here goes to the ravens since they have added some new parts here and there from Trestmen. I saw a post about how the Broncos will come after Flacco this game but since Marc is big on screen passes and passes to the RB, that may be a bad plan given Forsetts speed. A Blitz on a screen to Forsett or even to a WR like Camp could go yard. I bet if that happen, Dever will become more conservative from that point on. Lets not forget we do have some vastly large WR's that could be a threat on the outside. Marlon Brown, Aiken, and Waller in single coverage could cause some serious issues for Denver if left alone so we will have to see how this one goes.

First of all the guy was just taken off the Pup list a couple weeks ago so he's still getting up to speed in a way. Brooks might still be brought along slowly in the beginning of the season and might not even play in some games which is why i said by Week 10.

True, but its important to remember that basically the only way this happens if 1. Lewis gets hurt or 2. Lewis is playing poorly.

I can't think of a single time when the Ravens had somebody pass somebody else on the depth chart mid-season that wasn't because of those two things. Once the season starts, we rarely have weekly competition battles for people's jobs, because there isn't a ton of practice going on in the regular season anyway.

So short of an injury or poor play, there's pretty much 0% chance Brooks becomes a starter this season.

Are you going to be this negative all season?

Only one weakness on the Broncos?  Did they replace their rookie LT?  Did their inside LBs get better?  Is Darrien Stewart still their safety and is Ward still suspended?

Also, when all QBs not named Rodgers, and sometimes (Unfortunately) Roethilisberger, are under pressure they make mistakes.  Of course I don't know why you're completely disregarding the Ravens o-line  They are one of the best in the business.  The guards are the best tandem in the NFL.  Wagner the best RT in the NFL.  Believe it or not, this is a professional NFL team you allegedly support and a good one at that

 I will be watching -

1. Kamar - can he produce at #2 against a very good Corner

2. Jimmy - is he still in form, how will he play with his new contract, Will he finally make the probowl?

3. Kendrick Lewis - Stop gap or good player??

4. Offensive Playcaling and scheme - Marc Trestman has managed to be a bit hush hush on his tweaks to the offense.

5. Webb - for a lot of reasons.

Rodgers and ben aren't exempt from that btw. The poster who mentioned the various screens and short passing. Is spot on about negating the pressure. Particularly the outside guys. Denver doesn't have a great interior rusher.

Preseason game results can be somewhat misleading when judging a team's future but after today we will know a lot more. Hopefully an interesting and skillful game develops.

2008 lions went 4-0 in the preseason. Finished the regular season at 0-16

Again we see it from Pees because of the personnel he's forced to use in his defense. Is it an attack, attack attack defense? No there's a lot of bend but don't break. But when you have guys like Smith, Webb and Arrington all healthy you'll see the defense run at it's best. Pees gives his DBs the freedom to play to their comfort level be it starter or backup. You will rarely see backup guys who aren't as familiar with the defense playing as aggressive nor as fast because they don't wanna make the big mistake. However i don't expect to see that this game. All of these guys have faced Peyton, DT, Sanders and that system before. Those guys should play more comfortable and aggressive then the guys we got off the street last year. There may be some miscommunication with Lewis and Arrington being new but for the most part these guys should be comfortable with each other and those stunts and blitz that Pees like to call should have a highers success rate because none of our DBs should have a fear of getting beat.

Well that is what I meant to convey. We're not playing with guys off the street anymore and I expect to see a more aggressive approach. Pees isn't that attack, attack, guy and I know that, just want us to be in a better position to make plays. Honestly, it is my opinion that he needs to get on the field and out of the booth. The booth was fine when we had Ray Lewis & Ed Reed on the field but we no longer have those guys. While I love Suggs I don't see him as that kind of leader. I think that would put him more in touch with what is going on as the game progresses.

All greatness has to end at some point. Peyton's ends today.

I love the positive thoughts and optimistic enthusiasm. Personally, I'm trying to keep my own expectations low. After watching Petyon take us apart through 10+ years in the regular season, I'll believe in his demise when I see it.

Along with that, we just have a lot of question marks in critical areas. We had 2 major losses from last year: Ngata and Smith. Neither of the players that were supposed to fill their roles will be on the field. Denver's a tough place to go on the road and play and it is an even tougher place to start your season. While our secondary most certainly should be better this year, the starting group didn't have a very inspiring pre-season. Webb's health is a concern and I feel like with these new pieces (Lewis and Arrington), it will take some time for the secondary to gel as a complete unit.

Can we win this thing? Absolutely. But at this point, I'm choosing to be pleasantly surprised if it goes that way and will not be totally dejected if we lose (unless of course we look weak in the process).
