Thrilled that Daniel Brown #83 WR has been added to the Practice Squad. All of us at Isle of Wight Academy are so proud of Daniel, especially Director of Athletics and Coach, Dale Chapman. So glad that the Ravens made the very wise choice!!!

2 TE's? A watse if you ask me.Tthey have 3 good ones active and until told otherwise Pitta is still on the roster. That's 6 total. Maxx will be lucky to to see the field with the way Gilmore is producing and Boyle is a better blocker. Maxx may wind up our 3rd TE. Who saw that coming?

The 1 stat on Ross I was looking for -> fumbles.

 

Yeah... last season he had 4 fumbles of which 2 went to turnovers... That's indeed a little too much...

The decision on Urban is a tricky one. CAN.....he have the opportunity to return? So....I'll let them debate for another day or 2 and just do as I always have, as a Ravens' Diehard fan. Trust in Ozzie to .....Git 'R Done !!!!

 

What makes it really tough a decision is that a team has only 1 chance to use the IR/DTR list per season... So, if they spend it on Urban now, and, say, Flacco or Forsett gets injured a couple weeks into the season that last for 1-2 month, but not season ending, there you go... you still HAVE TO put them in the IR, ending their season.

 

What I'm not sure is that Urban warrants such a risk - but of course I'll trust Ozzie's and Harbaugh's decision on this. But I wouldn't at all be surprised if Urban ended up on the "normal" IR...

It seems the Charles James is already in Baltimore and is awaiting the decisions of the F.O. Urban will either go IR or IR-Return, which opens 1 Roster spot. Maxx Williams has been wearing "No Contact" jerseys and headgear in practices , which may be the reasoning for all of the TE movements. This year's Ravens will use 3 TEs per game, especially in Trestman's Offense. Now......Charles James can play DB and is also a KR/PR, so we'll have to see where they go with these new acquisitions. Being able to play several positions is a valuable asset.

Terrence Magee was Re-Signed and Urban was placed on the IR-Return Designation.

Glad Magee is back , as he was actually the 3rd best RB in the Pre-Season.
