Watching The Game In Dc

9 posts in this topic

I wanted to know if any Ravens fans in the DC area were planning to meet at one of the bars to watch the Ravens vs Titans game on Saturday. I had the displeasure of being the only Ravens fan in a bar full of Dolphins fans last weekend, and boy were they bitter by the fourth quarter.

I live in the DC area, but I'm driving to Glen Burnie to watch the game and try to pick up more Ravens gear. There is no Ravens fans hangout in the DC area, although a few fans had hung out at the Rock Bottom Brewery in Bethesda earlier this year. If there were a Ravens bar in this area, I would have considered starting a Roost or a Nest that would meet there.

I'm in arlington, and everytime I've gone out for football games on Sundays, I've been the only Ravens fan out... and I've been to at least 20 bars over the past 2 years in NOVA/DC...

I live in Bethesda and have been trying to find a good place to watch the games for a while. I typically go to Rock Bottom to watch so if anyone's around I'll be there on Saturday for the titans game...I'll be the tall white guy with the Ed Reed jersey on.

I'll be down in DC from Baltimore on Sunday for inaugural shenanigans but obvi HAVE to watch the Ravens game! Seems like people reference Rock Bottom more than anywhere else as a gathering of ravens fans...is that where people are planning to go on Sunday? [size=3][font="Arial Black"]Go Ravens!!! For what it's worth...

I'm a huge Ravens fan, born and raised in East Baltimore, and I will be bartending at Tom Tom's in Adams Morgan all weekend.

I have no idea what the crowds will be like with Inauguration Weekend looming, but I do know that I will be there with my Ed Reed jersey on and any Ravens fans are more than welcome to stop in and watch the game. I'll be sure to buy you a drink!!!

Thanks and feel free to contact me for more info,
Sean

DMBman, you'll be happy to hear that the word on the street is a lot of ravens fans are headed your way (to Tom Tom) on Sunday! I'll be there after (an ill-timed) birthday dinner. Go Ravens!!

I too live in Northern, VA and occasionally head out to watch a game. I have only run across another Ravens fan once in 3 years. Lolll And we were seated next to a bunch of steelers fans. That was the blow out game a few years back, needless to say I had a great time!
