Week One Discussion (Other Teams)

1,002 posts in this topic

There is no winning in this game.  If Patriots win, I already envision the droves of articles and discussion about the Patriots the next two days.

Hopefully a really ugly game will stem a little bit of the celebration for the Patriots.

Oh, and lest I forget, I'd like to congratulate 97% of the Patriots fan base on their 14th football season. icon_rolleyes.gif

Ben just throw it down the field to Brown

Surprised they're not picking on the nonexistent Patriots secondary.  Guess it doesn't hurt to establish the run game at the start.

Patriots defensive gameplan is probably shut down Brown at all costs.  Let DeAngelo or Wheaton or old man Health beat them.

I don't know if NE is going to be able to stop the bleeding in their run defense.

Well I'm sure they'll find some rule loophole that they can slip through...

They probably want to eat up time and prevent Brady and Gronk from burning their awful D. As bad as the Pats are on defense, they are still slightly better than the Steelers.

Good start for Ravens fan.  Steelers squandered a chance to lead, and have no competent kicker.  Pats lose a player.

We'll see, the Pats looked even worse than I thought on defense. Like a lot worse.
