Week One Discussion (Other Teams)

This is a tough game to call. I am kind of leaning Steelers. I don't think Bryant is that big of a loss. He's highly overrated. A third receiver. Pouncey always misses time. The rest of their oline is in tact. Meanwhile the patriots line is highly questionable. If the Steelers can generate any pressure it could be against these guys. Especially game one. All new guys working together while the steelers group mostly in tact. The steelers could get off to an early lead and shock the patriots. They have actually out game planned the patriots the last several times they've met.

Don't forget Bell being suspended

I know I'm in the minority but I'm rooting for Pittsburgh (and I use the term "rooting" extremely loosely)

 

1. My hate for Brady overrides our divisional rivalry

2. I'm not overly concerned with Pitt pushing for the division crown this year with the issues they have on D

3. I respect the Steelers organization 1000x more than the Patriots organization

4. I want the giant buzzkill of the Pats losing with Brady playing in the opener

5. I want to be able to watch ESPN or NFLN in peace this weekend

Steelers have failed miserably to draft db's in recent years. They also passed on CJ Mosley and their draft class this year has been a dumpster fire. I will take Ozzie/Eric all day over Colbert/Tomlin. Perriman might not be Antonio Brown tier but he can be a damn good WR in this league.

That's the logo of the Hartford Whalers a much more likeable, but unfortunately moved franchise, because Carolina needed a NHL team apparently. Still not as awful as moving the Quebec Nordiques to freaking Colorado. Makes more sense, sure, but hockey without Quebec? Common.

 

Also, I believe Antonio Browns hair is shaped like a T- piece. Huge mistake! He should have gone with the much more popular long piece, obviously. You need those to complete a Tetris. Everyone knows that.

We've made mistakes with DB also. I really wish we could have Corey Graham on our team again. Should have never let him go.

Their defense was awful this preseason. Sure, it's just preseason, but I have a feeling, that with the departure of Dick LeBeau and all that old leadership on that side of the football, Tomlin will be exposed as a mediocre coach, who landed in a really easy job.

Nothing will make me forget about the Patriots cheating ways than the Ravens winning SB50.  Best way to do that?  Have everyone in our division lose as much as possible.

There is no winning in this game.  If Patriots win, I already envision the droves of articles and discussion about the Patriots the next two days.
