Week One Discussion (Other Teams)

Tomlin has to be 100% the most overrated HC on a national media level... if you go on their forums their own fans call him a fraud on a regular basis. People buy more into his persona than they do his actual coaching ability. I would say he's in the 16-19 range out of 32 HC's but he get's love from the media like he's top 5.

I don't have him nearly as low as 16-19 personally. Every fan base has a group that rags on its own coaches and that's not the general consensus that I've gathered while surveying opinions.

Steelers fans admitting Harbaugh is better than Tomlin, love it. The truth comes out when they aren't protecting their egos lol.

I think the personnel the Steelers have inflates Tomlin's stock quite a bit. To me guys like Andy Reid, Coughlin, Fisher, ect. don't get their due because they have limited personnel to work with. If I can give credit to Tomlin in one area it's helping draft offensive players like Bell, Brown, Bryant, Pouncey, Sanders, ect. but as far as actual gameplanning and in game coaching that is where I would rank him.

If the Steelers retool their secondary their defense is going to quickly become very good again.  They have good pass rush and push up the middle, unfortunately they can't blitz because quick passes absolutely kill them.

Patriots get every benefit of the doubt call on offense, I've seen that same situation as a no call so many times.

And the Patriots aren't going to let up and start running anytime soon.  So if the Steelers want to avoid embarrassment they need to do something.

I would disagree there. The Chiefs have a ton of talent on their roster. The Giants have a bunch of solid players. Agreed on the point about the drafting. Pittsburgh doesn't have much defensive talent on the roster in my eyes, and haven't had much to work with there for the few years minus Cameron Heyward and Lawrence Timmons. We'll just agree to disagree there I guess.

Does he just have to touch the goal line? Cuz he did not cross it.

Ball crossed the plane... That's all that matters

Sucks if your opponent is playing Gronk in FF this week.

I finally took a year off from FF, I stressed myself out far too much when playing for money and couldn't even enjoy the games, So far I think I made the right decision lol

Oh man. The Brady lovefest that will be ESPN & NFLN this week.

That's what I was saying before the game. If the Pats win, imagine the discussions and articles about the Patriots in the next two games.  Ugh.  Luckily we get all football back Sunday.

Yep. I was really hoping the Steelers would somehow keep him out of the endzone.

One league I have Gronk and Brady.   :D

The only league I have that I signed up for - the same! And Antonio Brown too!
