[News] 2015 Ravens Practice Squad Signings

Could Montee Ball be our 3rd RB to start the season? Big back with experience and pedigree. And a reason to run angry on the Broncos!!!!!

I did feel ASA Jackson would be picked up and given the opportunity to prove whether those fumbles were nervous flukes. Robert Myer was one I wanted the team to keep but Colts snatched him. It's good to see Butler and D. Brown back along with Renner and Beyer.

Pretty good Squad , thus far. Glad to see Renner, Butler and possibly Daniel Brown returning!!
Nick Perry and the O-Linemen are a welcomed sight, also !

Man, glad Brown is coming back. That kid has a great upside. And dont forget. Many a practice squad player has moved up to the 53 man roster(we had 18 players on injured IR last year). Its a blessing to have real talent in the que.

Though Brown tweeted he's headed to Baltimore, until he gets here and puts his signature on a practice squad contract the team won't announce a thing. Crazier things have happened than for a team to call him and offer more than a practice squad contract to develop. From what he showed and had time to show, wouldn't be surprised at all if something like that happened. So until he is here and on the squad, as far as the team is concerned, he's not. Same with Charles James.

What about the last spot on the practice squad? Is Toussant going to be it? I expect McGee to be signed to the regular squad tomorrow after Urban is place on IRDR

Good job,Oz! Love that we kept Renner, Beyer, and D. Brown. Agree that last spot goes to Magee. Duron Carter is a project and we have enough of those at WR already.

I'm really pleased to see we kept Nick Perry, Renner and Butler. I think Perry has great upside and could help this team. Renner showed he can play under pressure and I have no doubt that if the Ravens didn't guarantee Schaub 2 million this year, Schaub would've got cut and Renner would be the backup. Butler or DeAndre Carter would've made the team if we didn't have such depth. Butler can be great if Waller or Perriman don't show any progress.

Im glad for all these PS Guys but I wont be happy unless Ozzie signs a returner/WR especially for Perriman insurance and I dont trust Camp who is injury prone.

Here are some guys who been cut...

Holliday, Jacoby Ford, Jeremy Ross, Jailen Saunders, Bryan Broyles, theres like 5-6 quality explosive WR/Returners who were cut... Pick one up.

Also, Duron Carter has been signed to the Colts PS, so we can't get him to our PS, only to the 53-man roster - which won't happen :)

I got a good feeling about Charles James, the guy is undersized but he's a quality athlete who can play corner, runningback, and is really good on special teams. He's scrappy and he's a competitor, I could see him developing into a #3 corner in our system.

I know Asa wasn't perfect, but how much you want to bet he winds up being a good return man for NY?

How much you want to bet he get's stripped or muffs a punt at a crucial juncture in a game for them if he's their starting PR/KR lol? No doubt the guy has some return skills but that goes out the window when you make bad decisions fielding the ball or cough up the rock because your ball security isn't up to snuff. Would you feel comfortable with him returning kicks in a playoff game for us after how mistake prone he was in the PRESEASON? I would be sweating bullets every time he returned a kick in a big game and I'm sure the coaching staff would be too which is why they cut him.

The Giants season isn't make or break on a risky return guy, for a team like us who will almost certainly be in the playoffs you can't mess around with risky return guys. That could be the difference between playing in the SB and going home on a strip/muffed punt.
