Practice squads can officially start being assembled in an hour and a half, so I figured we could use this thread to track the movement on who we sign.  No information yet, but I imagine it'll start rolling out around noon EST.

REPORTED ADDITIONS:

LB Brennen Beyer

WR Daniel Brown

WR Jeremy Butler

OG Kaleb Johnson

TE Dominique Jones

FS Nick Perry

TE Konrad Reuland

WR Jeremy Ross

OT De'Ondre Wesley

I believe the fist cuts made are all PS candidates. Here are a few that may make it.

Renner, Nick Perry, McGee, Toussant, Myers, Daniel Brown, Butler, Clausell, Pointer, Louis Nix (hope)

Probably won't be announced officially until tomorrow, but we should see some leaks from players and agents today. It could also be a revolving door for a while, too.

Apparently things are a bit different this year.  Waiver claims are now from 12pm to 1pm, and practice squads are assembled shortly after that waiver period is over.  Interesting.

Yeah I saw that too. It's like a cut draft! Sounds like the NFL took our idea lol

i dig it.  Makes things a bit more exciting and gives teams 20 hours to see what's out there before they decide to throw out some claims.

Wow, I had no idea it worked like that. Hope it works out.

Ahhh so here's how it works.  That notice comes at 1pm, which is why practice squads are officially filled shortly afterwards.

New wrinkle this year. In past, League would call teams to inform receive/lose via Claim. This year, all teams must wait for Notice.

Cleared waivers: Beyer, Bose, Brown, Butler, Clausell, Johnson, Magee, Nelson, Perry, Pointer, Renner, Reuland, Small, Toussaint”

So basically every player that people said would never clear waivers did.

Losing Myers sucks but Jensen has really improved and gives us the backup once KO leaves that the team was probably hoping Myers would be.

The Myers pick still confuses me anyway. He doesn't seem like a zone blocking style player but more of a power scheme anyway.

@jeffzrebiecsun: OLB Brennen Beyer, who had a couple of sacks versus Falcons, also back to Ravens practice squad.

I have to laugh when I read reports that say we tried to "sneak" Myers to the PS. There is no sneaking in the NFL. All 32 teams know every single player in existence, and if they like them, they put them in their crosshairs and pull the trigger if they are made available.

A team has to know they are basically saying goodbye to any player they release.

Asa was a tough call to let go. It figured someone snatched him up.

Well...we don't face the Giants so good luck to him. Hopefully he gets past his sometimes poor decisions.

Myer's was a bitter pill too. So good luck to him as well.

Not Myers, as some said he wouldn't

Except for Myers.

Not many thought Myers would ne cut in the first place.

I was referring to the lesser guys who were always PS candidates like Perry, Carter, Butler etc. I think it was clear how big the risk was regarding Myers. Would have liked to keep him but that's the risk.
