Perriman is the Ravens #1 draft pick for this season. What impressed the Ravens is his pure speed, he is very fast from what I've read.

I'm 100% certain that was sarcasm on display there.

Of course not. Who are we trying to kid here? The question is whether he has any chance to play before October... There have even been speculations that he might be placed on the PUP list...

People people.......game 1 is, as Coach put it...the first game....of 16. We should be looking ahead, not only worrying about game 1.....if our 1st round pick is ready...then he is...if not, then life goes on. If and I say if we lose the first game.....it doesn't mean the season is over. Trust our staff and front office to do the right thing for this young man....and our Team.

Does Perriman have a chance to play in game 1? Right. And if you believe that one have I got a deal for you! A fully functioning bridge, cheap. Please! The NFL knows better as well as the majority of Ravens fans.

Let's get the player healthy first b4 rushing him back onto the field. "Week 1" is only 1/17th of the regular season. Having Perriman as a solid contributor to the team is more important than the symbolic week 1 opener.

How about picking up Reggie Wayne for 1/2 a season. Here is a receiver that Perriman could learn from. Had 4.3 speed early on and knows how to catch the ball. If we could get him for the right price he could be that "2nd threat" on the field to free up the many other options the Ravens need to use. I believe Wayne could draw corner and safety coverage this is the what the Ravens could use at this time in the scheme of things.

I would like to see Waller and Campanero step up and assert themselves. It would be great to see those guys make big plays and beat the Broncos.  I really think Perriman is a far shot due to missed practice.
