Ozzie needs to trade for Cordarrelle Patterson. Asa Jackson is not going to cut it as a returner.

Man I really hope we don't just "settle" for Asa at returner. Would much rather keep Vaughn for his defense than to keep a guy who will give the ball to the other team once a game. He is not consistent or reliable whatsoever and that is the key.

1-3 in preseason. I think its safe to say this one of the worse preseasons we've had in a while. So what does this mean for the regular season. For me it means, don't any of our starters need to get hurt. We got torched by Philly, started winning in Washington, and let them come back and torch us, lost last night 20-19. Which tells me our 2nd and 3rd string players are not very good. We can not win 1 out of three games during the regular season and hope to make the playoffs. I hope the starters we have can stay healthy, because if not we are in a great deal of trouble. These back ups need to get better and fast.

No doubt, keeping the starters healthy is super critical. What I'm trying to keep in perspective is that while our 2nd and 3rd teams certainly did not look good - as complete units, I am hopeful that there are still individuals on those 2nd and 3rd teams that can be viable starters if called upon. 

 

Just because complete units look bad, doesn't mean that there aren't players among them that can still be good.

Problem with Asa is he thinks he is better than he is. He needs to humble himself. Stop thinking so much and just run.
