Preseason 4 - Baltimore Ravens at Atlanta Falcons

Outside of the first game Vaughn has been solid. One of the few guys I'm really not sure makes the 53

Likely comes down to whether we want a solid backend option in Vaughn or an inconsistent guy in Jackson who also operates as a return guy.  Positives and negatives both ways.

I'd keep Vaughn.

Wonder if Asa will be taking this kickoff or not

Would like to see Buck Allen get a shot to return. With his elusiveness and vision I think he could be good

Still feel like Ozzie should go after Fred Jackson. Him and Forsett would solidfy the run game to help our young WR corp

Winging it with two unproven sector of offense is risky..

Well thats why Brown is on the bubble.  You cant be bad on special teams and not expected to ever see the field in the regular season and expect to have a safe roster spot.

Brown is feeling himself a little too much after that "forced fumble", wrap up man. This isn't college ball, him and Elam always throwing that shoulder trying to decleat people, bad move unless you're the size of Will Hill or Kam Chancellor

I always hope to see Art Brown play well consistently but I'm afraid that's not going to happen ever. Couple nice flashes, couple bonehead plays every time.

Size is only a fraction of it

Chancellor 6'3" 232

Brown        6'1" 240

Hill              6'1" 207

Why are we wasting returns on Magee and Tom Nelson. They don't have the speed to return kicks.

Tom Nelson ran like a 4.33 on his pro day a few years back.

Just got back. What'd I miss?

Cuts are getting harder, Asa vs. Vaughn, multiple receivers looking for a spot, Marlon Brown proving he wasn't in any danger of getting cut. Schaub looked serviceable, Renner not so much unfortunately. D did terrible on first drive, since then they've been very good. KLM having some good some bad, same with Buck. Asa may have won the return job if he gets one more decent return. Orr dominated early, Arthur Brown played well on defense, terrible missed tackle on special teams though, McClellan seems to be the odd man out at this point.

That's been the story the whole preseason.  You see moments of great plays, and then others where you want to punch him.  I'm an Arthur Brown fan, but I'd try to swap him for another player if the opportunity presented itself.

Why is Flacco even suited up? Lol

They always go through warmups as usual in the 4th game, even if they're not playing.

This is actually the best the backup defense has played all preseason.  I want to think they just needed time to adjust.  It's not a new scheme so idk what they needed to adjust to, but I'm going to believe that's what it was.

It sucks that the one time, all preseason it seems, that Waller gets a pass thrown to him that travels more than 5 yards in the air, Renner saw something different than Waller did
