Preseason 4 - Baltimore Ravens at Atlanta Falcons

You're right, we should throw our 36 year old #1 receiver out there to return punts...just throw Asa or Camp back there to fair catch it, its genuinely not that big of a deal

It is though lol. You can't just fair catch every punt, there will always be booming kicks that need to be returned. Campanaro is a possibility, big no to Asa.

Butler has been non-existent all day. The one opportunity for a catch he had, he dropped.

He's been a disappointment all preseason.  He's done next to nothing after all of that hype from OTAs.

PS easily now. He won't make the 53

I know preseason doesn't matter. But, playing this poorly 3 straight games has to have some negative effect on the team as a whole no??

jacoby had ball security issues as well at one point.

Asa seems to have good skills - just have to work on that ball security.

Waller has acquitted himself quite well. I think Vaughn makes the team as that extra CB because he has experience and also a good special teamer.

Well the hype is the hands, and he does have hands.  But he's not getting separation.

He can work on it somewhere else.

Yeah he just looks very ordinary to me.  He hasn't done anything to standout beyond a fringe roster guy.

Ask the 49ers how valuable ball security is, they missed out on a SB in 2011 because of an under qualified PR. I don't trust Asa in a big game after what I've seen. Jacoby had a muff here and there but never as bad as we've seen from Asa in the preseason of all games.

deonte thompson might be cut by the bills dont know if the ravens would use a roster spot on a 7th wr/kick returner although he could be a deep threat until perriman returns.

To be fair, Jacoby really cost the Texans in the playoff game in Baltimore. He needed a revival in on a new team. Maybe that's what Asa needs. I'm sure done watching him do this on our team, though.

Rex Grossman aka Original RG3 aka Kyle Shanahan's Dirty Secret looks a little chunky. He might've literally had to put down a bag of chips and drag himself off the couch to sign his deal with the Falcons lol. Nice job Ky Ky.

Good performances by Beyer and Davis.

Carl Davis is a find for us!

Absolutely. I like Lewis-Moore too.

I mean, I agree but I don't see another option at this time. Ozzie might be able to make something happen but right now - just don't know other than Camp.

Deonte wouldnt be a half bad choice if he is cut  we know is a good returner just didnt have the WR chops... but now  yeah maybe he would be an option

I do like Beyer, but he's a completely different player against these 3rd string guys compared to the 1st and 2nd stringers he was going up against early in the game.  He couldn't handle the strength or speed of the better players.

I wouldn't trust Asa in the regular season as a punt returner.

Much less the playoffs. I think that last fumble was the straw that broke the camels back for him and thoroughly put him in Harbs doghouse. It will be up to Rosburg and/or Pees to fight for him if he's going to make the 53.
