Yes, Allen has to secure the football. But the refs have to do a better job when making a call that has room for doubt. If Allen had the ball when he broke the plane of the goal line it's a TD fumble notwithstanding. I know the game was not filmed by the NFL cameras and maybe the angles weren't that good, but the play wasn't reviewed. It was in the last two minutes of the half. If it was a score the Ravens lead at halftime and maybe Harbs doesn't get on B Harris.

Well at least he did it in preseason and not in a playoff game in new England

Last pre season game Thursday..  He will have his work cut out for him. Feed the kid vid of his college highlights before the game for incentive.  At USC he was super sideline to sideline quick.

Allen better go back to last season and see what happened to Taliaferro after he fumbled against the Steelers.

I don't think LT played for a few games after that fumble.

One of the biggest problems new guys have coming from College is that Now there is someone trying to support a family and get paid big bucks to make you look bad. The way he fumbled was text book arm chop down by the defender.
