My Annual 2015 Predictions and Final AFC North Standings

568 posts in this topic

I think that the Ravens offensive players are pretty miffed at their output last week. I expect them to play with a lot of fire. Likewise, I am hoping Trestman is going to be more adaptable and mix up the offensive play calling. Time to get this offense rolling. Defense will dominate. Ravens win this game by a wide margin.

23-6 Ravens

Our Defense should stifle them.  Carr looks out.

If we can't win this game, even in Oakland, we will have a bad year.

Carr is playing in this one and it will make a difference. He has a quick release and plays with that same kind of Philip Rivers type mentality. Going to be emotionally challenging for us on defense and what is our offensive identity? Last year it was apparent from day 1 what kind of team we were.  I have to stand by my prediction.

we will rattle Carr no question, force him to make mistakes. That's what our defense does, especially with younger qbs

Ok after watching what happened today I am re-evaluating my prediction and it is not for the better. I think 0 and 4 is a stark reality....

I want to be the first one to say that Marc Trestman needs to go. Who calls that sideline throw near the 2 minute warning that stopped the clock and gave the Raiders exactly what they wanted ? Who calls that play except a guy that has no idea what he is doing. Trestman ruined things in Chicago and now he has brought his dysfunction here .

Heads gotta roll :34853_brickwall:

Think the Seahawks game is a confirmed loss after you lose to Oakland. The Seahawks are giving the packers a fight right now IN Lambeau field. Edited by Cillmatic

Lookin more like another 10-6 ... 9-7 season to me. But I'm gettin outta the prediction business just like Harbs is gettin outta the injury updates. Just gonna ride it out and see what happens. But For the record I cannot see a harbaugh coached team finishing under .500

Our only hope at makin the playoffs is the steelers and bengals tanking- bc no chance we make it in as a wildcard

Keep it up with the score predictions. You're bound to at least get in the ballpark, eventually.

If you throw enough stuff at the wall somethings gotta stick. Just wish I was predicting Ravens victories .

I do like the Ravens to beat the Bengals on Sunday...

The NFL is the ultimate week-to-week league.

There wasn't much of a reason to think Washington would beat the Rams this week... Rams just came off a great home win against the defending NFC champs, and Washington played poorly at home against Miami in a loss. It was a one sided game...

There wasn't much of a reason to think Cleveland would beat Tennessee this week... Titans came off a dominant win against TB, their rookie QB played out of his mind, and the Browns were coming off a poor performance and starting Manziel. It was a one sided game...

Its sort of like sports betting... there's a fundamental truth that holds most of the time...

Whenever the public is certain something is going to happen, run the complete opposite direction with your betting. The public generally just picks the "better team", and ignores things like matchups, locations, overreactions to previous weeks, etc.

One thing that would be kind of funny is if we went 2-14 and won both of our games against Pittsburgh and they go like 13-3 lol

No way we actually beat them in Week 4 but still that would make me laugh. This Bengals Week 3 game is a huge must-win already. Sad.

I agree. I really think we'll win this one. It's the Pittsburgh game that concerns me.

There probably isn't a game on our schedule that I'd be more confident in us losing than the week 4 game against the Steelers...

Yeah. That's going to be a rough game. Coming off a divisional game against the Bengals at home going on the road to Pittsburgh with the young team without Suggs looks deadly. I'm hoping we get our stuff right by then. If we somehow go 2-2 it'll be a miracle lol.

Me too. That's the game that really worries me, not to forget it's on a Thursday night.

I'm also dreading the Pittsburgh game a ton. If both offense and defense are having a rough night it could be like a 30-point blowout. On the other hand, if they can both get it together, it might be a close game, but I don't think there's any way we win the game (barring a crazy miracle). Season's all but over if they can't beat the Bengals on Sunday.

with the steelers secondary it just might have to be a shootout.

However a shootout with Big Ben and Antonio brown with a fresh bell and no Suggs is a game that I'm not looking forward to. However I still have faith in my team. Not many ppl thought we would beat them in the playoffs last year either whether they had bell or not.

My new prediction after I've seen the team in action.

at Denver was a loss

at Oakland was a loss

vs. Cincinnati = WIN

at Pittsburgh = loss

vs. Cleveland = WIN

at 49ers = WIN

at Cardinals = loss

vs. Chargers = WIN

vs. Jaguars = WIN

vs. Rams = WIN

at Cleveland = WIN

at Miami = WIN

vs. Seattle = WIN

vs. Chiefs = LOSS

vs. Steelers = WIN

at Cincinnati = This game will once again be the decider whether we go to the playoffs or not. (A 10-6 record is not gonna do it this year)A lot depends on how healthy we will be at this point of the season, so I could see it going either way, but I'm gonna go with my heart on this one and say we win.

I know 11-5 seems like a pipe dream at this point, but that was my prediction from the beginning and I'm sticking to it.
