Could you please stick to bashing the team instead of each other? Thank you.

Not a fan, but impressive guess on this one cheese wiz.

Not a guess at all. To prove it I will successfully predict the final score of the rest of our games within 7 points. That's total combined points.

can't even take a compliment. It is a guess, unless you know the future... And you don't.

You nailed this one. So what if it's a little off. If I called you out for claiming to be a wizard when wrong, I should call you out on a "job" well done, as despicable as the result is!

I'm trying to become an internet sensation with this prediction thing. I have a feeling I can't count on your support!

Well here we are in week 13 already and I've been dreading this prediction all year. However when you realize that this nightmare is all part of a larger picture that will allow us to change field position and actually pick up some top-notch draft picks I have to say at this point the glass is half-full. Unfortunately this game is over at half time. Seahawks 37-6

that was a very good guess. Even though a broken clock is right twice a day I still gotta give it to you on this one.

Well well well.  My apologies.  I'm pretty sure you sold your soul to Satan to finally get this right though...

lol --every dog gets a bone now and then  :baltimore-ravens:

Wait till you see the KC prediction!

Ok it's Friday afternoon and we are one week closer to capping off what will be a long road back to the playoffs. Of course the Chiefs come in a beat us up. Everybody knows that, but the question is how bad will it be. It will appear a competitive game at half time but KC is way too much for us to handle in the second half. 30-10 as the Chiefs put up almost 500 yards of offense and once again our dynamic duo of Allen/West stumble and fumble their way to a fairly good impression of Abbott and Costello.

Unfortunately because of our salary cap issues it will be pretty much status quo for us. No big names coming in. However some significant names will be going out. We are a rebuilding team and I'm not sure what we have. I can tell what we don't have , an identity  confidence , swagger and an inspirational leader. Without those we are a team somewhere in the middle of the pack.

And how long will we be rebuilding for?

Right now we are upside down on our salary cap. So looking down the road I would say it will take 3 years to get that back to a place where we can be relevant in the market again. The Flacco/Rice/Webb/ contracts have become a huge financial abyss. With the money we paid Yanda there's not a lot of room left. We will have around $4 mil in cap space next year. Doesn't leave much room.

Your cap analysis is a bit off.

It's not off by much but lets say just for sake of argument it's off by $10 mil (which it isn't ) but lets say it is just for the hell of it. We might be able to resign Ray Rice - I'm sure you would be on board with that. I hear Kyle Boller is wanting to make a comeback.. What say you usmccharles you seem to think you have all the answers. The bottom line is we are miles away from where we need to be in every phase of the game. Whether it be salary cap, coaching , player personnel or swagger it's going to be a long cold off season.

wow calm down tiger... I was merely complementing him on his cap breakdowns and his knowledge on salary cap. Besides, aren't you the one who was posting 3 year old articles talking about our caps pace before. Never said I had all the answers nor do I imply it. I simply state my opinion and what I think is best scenario. I was happy with the contract with rice, Suggs, Yanda. I can't see in the future like you. You should of warned rice not to go to Atlantic city that weekend, technically this is your fault

Obviously that last sentence is a joke

That Rice trainwreck would have happened sooner or later but if I could have prevented I would have. To think he was going around to Baltimore schools talking to kids about bullying still makes me nauseous to this day.

At any rate we are in a salary cap twilight zone and for the next 2-3 years it will be the same shuffling in of sub-par talent and letting the real talent go because we can't pay them. Osemele, Upshaw and possibly even Justin Tucker ( all of which I don't believe we can afford to resign ) are the examples this year. Ngata, and Torrey Smith were the examples last year.

yea it makes me sick to my stomach that he was preaching all that stuff in schools then that happens.

Sideline, look at the top ten teams on that link you posted with all the salary cap space, notice anything outside of Cincinnati? They all have been losing teams for years. Cincinnati has drafted amazing lately.

Guess I'm just pulling numbers out of thin air huh? You need to wake up and smell the coffee sir!

http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/cap/2016/

You do understand that number doesn't take into account any of the normal off season transactions that every team does, including roster cuts, retirements, trades, extensions, restructures, draft picks, tenders, etc. Correct?

That $4M figure will shift in different directions dramatically in the next 6 months

that was extremely obvious, that's why I didn't mention it
