Doubt he gets the option, he has not been good.

still they have very little reason to actually give up on him.

if he going to be on our team we most likely will have to trade a pick or 2 for him.

He isn't worth the price of the 5th year option, if they even want him back, they can get him a lot cheaper. He has played an average of 6 snaps a game. Personally I don't want him.

Have some pride. That's pathetic.

Sure, I'll ignore statistics and say Baltimore is a great place to visit and live. There, much better.

You don't have to ignore anything. I know that there are bad places in the city. You are the one crapping on the whole city.

After careful research based on certain scientfic priciples and known facts, I have formulated my somewhat famous and usually amazing predictions for the AFC North and the 2015 season and they are as follows, The Ravens are in a sharp decline, Flacco has no real deep threat. I believe Perriman will end up being an injury-prone washout. Our secondary is weak and good back-up personnel is non-exsistent. Our defensive line is pourous without Nagta and we don't have enough good healthy defensive line players for the shuffle in and out theory to be affective. We remain with excellent linebackers and a strong offensive line if they can stay healthy. Based on this the Ravens will finish 3rd in the AFC North behind the dreaded Bengals and Steelers with the Bengals winning the division. Here is how I believe our schedule will play out.

Week 1 at Denver will be a loss

Week 2 at Oakland will be a win.

Week 3 Home Opener with Cincinnati will be a loss.

Week 4 At Pittsburgh will be a loss.

Week 5 Cleveland at home will be a win.

Week 6 At Niners will be a loss.

Week 7 at Phoenix will be a loss.

Week 8 San Diego at home will be a WIN

Week 9 Bye

Week 10 Jacksonville at home will be a LOSS

Week 11 St. Louis at home will be a LOSS

Week 12 at Cleveland will be a loss.

Week 13 at Miami will be a loss.

Week 14 Seattle at home will be a WIN

Week 15 Kansas City at home will be a loss.

Week 16 Pittsburgh at home will be a LOSS

Week 17  at Cincinnati will be a loss.

There you have it sports fans We have a down year and finish at 4 and 12. Cincinatti wins the division at 12 and 4. Pittsburgh finishes at 10 and 6 and does get a wild card. Cleveland is only able to go 7 and 9.

The sleeper team in the AFC will be the NY Jets who will go to the playoffs on the strength of the amazing transformation of Ryan Fitzpatrick.

So what? What are you trying to say by saying that? I wouldn't trade for the guy and he isn't a FA. He isn't getting a 5th year option either unless he suddenly goes off before the end of the season as the deadline to put an option on him is this next offseason. It also costs around 7.5 mil to have him for one year. He isn't near worth that.

its means he is under contract and so we will have to trade for him whether he gets the option or not.

wizard is the one who said he was going to be on the ravens next season not me.

i was actually replying to him before you quoted me....

Yeah I just said he isn't a FA next year. My point is he is not a good player and we would be dumb to give up a draft pick for someone who can't get on the field. That and pointing out that the chances the Vikings give him a 5th year option are similar to the chances we do that with Elam.

I don't know...

I think we would take Patterson...at least he can stretch the field, but the F.O. shouldn't and won't give up much.

Not sure what Patterson has to do with a 2015 season prediction, but we could always trade bust for bust in Elam for Patterson, lol

He's only stretching the field if he's actually on the field. Its not like he's had a ton of talent to compete with the last few years in Minnesota, and he hasn't been able to get on the field that often other than ST there either.

Vikings felt so great about him that they signed a more expensive version of him in Mike Wallace.

Honestly, outside of return ability (which really isn't worth trading for in this league), I don't see much difference between Patterson and Givens to be honest.

Well you did bring up the 5th year option as if they were gonna give it to him :P

But yeah my main bit about not trading for him was more to anyone else reading who thought it may be worth it to give up picks for a guy who has not done well and hardly even plays 3 years in.

I think he is modifying your original prediction as to how he believes it will go.

You predicted 5-11.....However we are actually floundering below your Mendoza line at this juncture.

Pittsburgh beats Arizona and then gets schooled by a 1-5 Kansas City team.  This is the NFL, but we would need a run we've never produced even in our talented eras.

San Diego was tied up and exploded in the 4th quarter.  The Rams are formidable.

Until I see a sign of transformation, we are playing for the Draft Pick.  Don't ruin it boys.

Yes I agree that 5 & 11 does seem like a pipe dream and that 4 & 12 may even be a stretch. Could I dare to dream Joey Bosa will be here soon !

Ok guy n gals here's the skinny for this weekend. The Chargers have as much of a chance to win the AFC West or sneak in as a wild-card as we do. If Pittsburg had anybody but Josh Scobee we would be 0-7. They are way healthier and still have some kind of crazy dream !  I don't see any dreams coming true in this game. Even I didn't dream us being 1-7 at the bye.

23-21 Ravens

Ok everyone here is my prediction for the bye week. Coming off an emotional win against the Chargers give us a little swagger and it actually ends up being a Raven blowout. 49-0 the Ravens beat the bye week. :baltimore-ravens:

Ok guys and gals-here is my prediction  First let me state the obvious. There is no way we make the playoffs in any way shape or form. We still have several losses in the next 8 games and will finish the season close to my 5-11 prediction. Now for the sad part of what I see happening long term. Unfortunately this is not one off year but a decline in general for us. Because of the cap issues and poor draft selections we will remain in the lower echelon of talent in the league for several years. However we do beat the Jags but just barely 23-17

I think one of the teams are gonna win.

But wouldn't a tie just sum up our season this year so well? Might be a fitting frustration.

cap issues? Do you realize how much dead money comes off the books next year along with the restructure of joes contract? We actually will be in pretty good shape. And poor draft selections? I think that would be a matter of opinion, Ozzie is and always will be one of the best. We lost a string of games by less than a touchdown with a chance to win on the last drive in every single one- and we had several injuries to key players. Combine that with tough scheduling and some fluke plays..thats not a decline that's just a lot of bad luck. We're not even in the lower echelon of talent right now regardless of our record. Every team in the league knows we're not a 2-6 team. We will be right back in the mix next year( if not this year) and you will fade away and eventually disappear .

Man I sound like a broken record. I know I'm wasting my time I couldn't help myself.
