Your movement will fail. We Baltimorians love our Ravens. One of the few good things about the city I call home. I will back the boys till thick and thin and buy their merchandise.

And I can guarentee you. There are thousands like me. So that's not gonna work

It's time to earn our fan cards. We've had it too easy for years. Let's see who can hang on through a bad season.

There's a reason I bolted when I got the chance to.

But I love my Ravens. And have stuck with them since the Boller days

THIS.

Its sooooooooo easy to be a fan of a team that wins all the time.  ( See New England )

I have been a fan since 1996.   I survived the loosing seasons. It just makes the winning ones all the more sweet.

If you want to be THAT fan that cries and moans and burns your jerseys, and doesnt buy tickets go ahead.  Be that guy.

I will buy your used jersey.  I will buy your tickets.

Be that fan.  Let me just say this. March 29, 1984

Look it up if you need to.

I love the Ravens too. I hate seeing them reduced to a hapless losing team that is steeped in a winning tradition. We deserve better than what we are getting!

I can almost guarantee that wholesale coaching changes are going to happen including Ozzie Newsome being gone next year.

You can be an ostrich and bury your head in the sand but that doesn't mean the problem doesn't exist.

let's say for example you own a bank and you hire a manager that keeps hiring people that steal your money. Who ya gonna fire? The guys that steal your money or the manager that hired them?

I can not almost, I WILL guarantee, that will NOT happen.

I agree with you. Saying Ozzie tried to fix our problems in the offseason is like saying an auto mechanic tried to fix a car but it still wouldn't run. Our two biggest problems headed into the season were the secondary and our WRs. AND, guess what? They still are. IMO, we needed Breshad Perriman plus a FA WR to complement SSS. As far as our " keystone cops" secondary is concerned, these junior varsity players don't look any better than the ones we had last year. Giving up 457 yards passing to Josh Who? is but a preview of upcoming attractions. There will be heads rolling soon and there should be. Today's loss was but one more indication that there is a severe lack of discipline on the team, which leads to some of the stupid penalties and makes one also wonder about certain players' work ethics when it comes to conditioning when the defense has fallen apart in the second half of at least three of our games. Surrendering 24 points in the 2nd half to a team with a 1-3 record in our stadium is unacceptable as well as embarrassing.

I'm not pouring salt-I'm trying to start a movement in Ravens Nation. We are the fans We pay the bills. Let's get those bums ouuta here.

Yeah lets take a look at what will happen then

Exhibit A: San Francisco 49ers

Exhibit B: Michigan

But yeah lets tear everything apart because we have a down year due to us drafting at the bottom of the every round finally catching up to us. Still not good enough? How about this

Exhibit C: Cleveland Browns(you know, the team that fires their entire staff every 2 years and continues to lose)

That is exactly what we are heading for if we do what you are suggesting. 7 non losing seasons in a row, finally get one and we should dump everyone, sounds a lot like a certain team 40 miles south as well.

Firing the coach and gm is not the answer. Can't even entertain statements like that with a response. The defensive scheme needs to change. You know something's wrong when every single pass that's completed there's not a defender anywhere in sight. We couldn't have predicted that our number one pick would go down the first day of camp and the heart of our defense would go down in week 1. However that's no excuse this time,

Sadly unless something drastic happens it's starting to look like a 7-9 , 8-8 season at best.

Ok its time for my Niners prediction. We have to many injuries and too much chaos to compete in SF. Our players have no swagger. We have no bona fides as far as offensive weapons. Our defense is a shambles and this game becomes a blowout. 27 - 10 niners Our record will be 1 and 7 at the bye and you can take that to the bank, We are one of the 6 worst teams in the NFL !!

I cant disagree with you on our defense, everyone knows that its very subpar.  But no reason our offense cant put up more points than 10....since this is two teams in shambles, ill say its around a 21-27ish

Well, Wizard, I have to say your predictions for the year have been about spot on.

I really thought we were Championship bound and you are on the record with the exact opposite.

Its hard to give up on them. Despite stating otherwise, I've even retained our Defense for the San Fran game in my Fantasy League. If they score 27, I'll be lucky to do well with them.

We'll see, but if it goes bad I really would like a high draft position. We haven't had one since the Billick era.

We have no running game as it looks like Forsette is not playing. Without that no way we can put up 27 or even 21 points and besides no matter how many points we put on the board  The Niners are going to score more.

Sometimes I hate being right but the bright side is there will be some wholesale coaching and FO changes at the end of the year and that means there will be a new philosophy on draft day. Sad to think if Josh Scobee could kick a field goal we would be 0-5 right now.

Actually the niners aren't in that much of a shambles. They do have some dis-array there but it is a different kind than we do. Theirs comes from a new coach who is finding his footing and a bunch of off-season craziness. Ours comes from a GM who thinks he can plug holes left by Pro Bowlers with sub par replacements and a coach who is clearly losing control of his team.

Your way off. Just like all of your predictions when you actually went into detail. You've gotten lucky on a string of games that could have easily went either way. Harbaugh has complete control of the team and is probably one of the only coaches in the league that can keep a team together when off to this bad of a start. Your talking about THE best gm In the league and one of the best coaches. Show some damn respect. We are a team that has gotten much younger, and we should be extremely excited about the years to come once some of these guys develop. I agree a change needs to be made at defensive coordinator , and I'm confident that they will address that in the offseason. But nobody could have predicted our first round pick going down in camp, the heart of our defense going down week 1 (Suggs) and a string of other injuries occurring so rapidly. Mix that with a tough schedule, a few bad calls and just some pure bad luck and we've found ourselves in quite a hole. But I'm confident if anybody can bring us out of it it's harbaugh- this year or the next. It's far from over for this group.

Wow talk about being disallusioned. The past is the past. Today and tomorrow are about winning. If we don't win there is no market money outside of the Baltimore area and that is not an option. Mark my words there will be major changes coming down the pike. Major

harbaugh and Ozzie are two of the best in the league. That's not being disillusioned that's fact. The numbers back it up. It's always the fans that want instant gratification that start throwing out accusations and wanting to fire everybody the first sign of adversity. Teams that take that type of approach end up like the Browns, Dolphins , and lions, etc. and they end up in complete sabotage. teams that display patience end up like the packers, Patriots , and Ravens. (Successful)

We have obviously gotten a lot younger ( another fact that can't be denied) and it takes time for young players to develop. Just bc it doesn't happen right away and we have one down year ( a year in which we are only 5 games in mind you) doesn't mean you jump ship and do some major overhaul. It's extremely premature to even be discussing this at this point. That's not being disillusioned that's called being rational.

You guys keep using this word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Nobody realistically thinks either will be fired after the season.

I suppose a coordinator change and some personnel changes count as "major", but there really isn't a justifiable reason for anybody to think either would be fired.

It would amuse me though if Ozzie retired after the season, and the fans claiming that he would be fired would conjure up some new bogus conspiracy theory about him being asked to resign. Probably from the same clowns who think Steve fired Cam Cameron.
