Does that mean they didn't put in any waiver claims or just that somebody put in claims before them?

His tweet only says they weren't "awarded". To me that means that any claims we may have put in (no telling whether there were any) they were not filled.

It would have been nice it he'd have made it to our PS. The Ravens were willing to risk him, so this is what happens when you show you aren't willing to carry your 5th rounder on your roster ... someone else might be

The Giants just cut former Ravens McClain, Brown and Miles. Now they claim Asa Jackson. I guess they figured one of these former Ravens have to pan out, especially with Will Hill having success.

Im pretty sure Spagz had a hand in getting Asa.

It's amazing how teams are just throwing away draft picks, I don't ever remember it being this bad.

 

I  thinks teams have developed less patience's for players not drafted in the first three rounds because training camp isn't as long as it used to be.

Actually some guy name Matt Paradis is going to be their starting center atleast according to sources. Gino lost first team snaps to Matt Paradis but maybe down the line Garcia could eventually be their starting center but not now.

Meh...it's intriguing in name only.  Ball is too inconsistent.  More importantly, he failed in Kubiak's system which means he probably won't cut it in Trestman's either.  Too me Ball is more of what we now have at b/u - an injury prone bruiser (Taliaferro) and a fumbling rookie (Allen).

We did give up a 5th round pick as well, not taking anything away because us with a 4th round pick is awesome, just saying we also lost a pick there
