He will be on practice squad if someone doesn't grab him , which i don't think they will.

Yeah he cant be on PS, but I hope Ozzie will keep his number at the front of his rolodex.

I blame the broadcast from Thursday night for not knowing the rules.  They said so many guys could be there but they were dead wrong.  The "veteran" spot is simply for a guy that has accrued more than 2 seasons (2 used to be the cutoff), and up to 3 seasons.  Essentially, they're letting 2 guys that have 1 more year of experience join.

Thanks for the info.

I am disappointed with the Vaughn cut.

Seemed to me at least he was one of the better players on the field Thursday night.

He looked better at corner and played just as well as Trawick and Levine on ST. Harbaugh is obsessed with the ST guys then when they're forced to use them in a game they can't cover anybody. Oh well...

This kinda makes you wonder about our G position after this season. I think we all thought he would be KO's replacement while we re-signed Yanda but with him cut, kinda makes you wonder.

He could still go to practice squad but remember Joe will probably restructure and save us a big chunk on the cap to help resigning Yanda and or KO also remember Urschel and Jensen could play guard as well

Not crazy at all.

Yea you could see his struggles with the cut off blocks and getting to the 2nd level at times. Bt i thought he played well in a phone booth as they say. I'd like to keep him and see where he is next year with Castillo's coaching.

That's a good way to put it because i had Asa making the team and i definitely settled on there not being a better option when i made my decision. Asa wasn't one of the best 53 period.

With only 5CBs Trey Walker better get ready to see plenty of ST snaps and maybe even was sub packages.

As bad as Walker was at times I bet Brooks could get some time as a dime corner

None of the cuts surprised me nor did any of the guys who made the 53. I thought we'd keep 8 LB but we kept 9 so no biggie. I rolled the dice on the team keeping Magee, Myers & Vaughn and letting Hurst and Bilukidi go despite Hurst getting a lot of starting time last year and Bilukidi getting re-signed to a 2 year deal.

I think it'll be interesting to see who we keep on the PS. I think most of these guys pass through waivers if not all. Renner, Johnson, Beyer, Daniel Brown and Jeremy Butler look like clear PS priorities. I'm not sure any of the DL guys really stood out to make the team. I also assume Myers makes the PS but I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't re-sign him. I would think Magee is higher in priority than Toussaint but these things are tough to gauge.

Who was the guy that called me an idiot when i said thunder thigh myers is going to be cut a month ago?

Probably hanging out with the same people who said Arthur Brown or Buck Allen wouldn't make the 53.  ;)

Weren't you also calling for Arthur Brown to not make the 53? So far, you're not right on that. I wouldn't go around pounding your chest about being right about two things. We all have our opinions and ideas about things. Nothing wrong with having them, but to come around and gloat when you're not even 100% right since you obviously got some wrong is a little unfair and looks bad. Far better it is to be humble about it than to go around talking about how you're right.

I thought before last year that Elam would be the guy to get the most interceptions for us

I am going to go Elam as well. Smith doesn't seem like a CB who gets a bunch of INTs to me, maybe he does this year but I just don't see it with him. Webb might but I don't know if he will either. I think both of those guys get a couple but I don't see them taking any unnecessary risks considering our back end is a bit of a question mark at FS. Brooks is good but he did have some dropped ones in college and I don't know how early he starts, Stewart is good but I don't see him putting up any great numbers in terms of INTs. I think Elam is going to be used underneath a lot more as a roamer type guy and I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him starting to make plays, INTs included.

Everyone has their mistakes that they are wrong about. Always get a kick when people go about pounding their chests because all you gotta do is look back and see where they have messed up. Really not that hard lol

I was correct about Robert Myers not making the team when we drafted him. Never saw anything.

You're the genius on this board Sami84. You are a savant and have great clairvoyance like say Nostradamus did a few hundred years ago!

Considering it's Niners, we probably get that pick if he doesn't retire or get arrested before the season ends

"Ozzie doesn't cut 5th round draft picks." "You obviously don't know how drafting works.*  "Good thing Ozzie is our GM and not you"

Then Ozzie cuts Myers lol. Sami84 and Ravensfan23 were right.

wow I remember Drummond was my favorite player in the draft. He was a top 15 prospect at one point. I wonder what happened. I like Holliman initially but he is softer than a baby's butt then that steelers stench is on him too lol. Brooks is better than both anyway.

Can't wait to see how brooks turns out

We need to covertly sneak Will Likely onto this team wearing someone else's jersey ;)

Yeah, too bad he can't just move over to Owings Mills now from CP.  lol  He has good skills at CB as well.

Darrel Green was only 5'8".   :D

Jamison Hensley – ‏@jamisonhensley

Only Joe Flacco, 10 others remain from #Ravens’ 2012 Super Bowl team.

Anyone else getting tired of these posts about how many players are still on the team? It doesn't matter AT ALL. We're a better team now than the 2012 team anyway.

I wonder which cut Raven will be picked off of waivers by the Browns this year. They always seem to take one of our guys.

Well, they did only keep 6 OL, so that's a logical spot lol

Yeah. They probably would've been the team to take Easton. I'm sure they were furious when we didn't just cut him. Lol. Maybe they'll get Butler for their horrible WR corps or Magee as their RB or Johnson or Myers for their OL. It wouldn't surprise me. They seem to routinely target our cuts yearly.

Anyone know what the conditions are on the pick we acquired from the 49ers?

Per Jeff Zrebiec: "Per transaction wire, Ravens get a conditional 7th round pick in 2016 from 49ers for center Nick Easton."

Hopefully it is something reasonable and achievable and not like 16 games on the active roster.

In honesty, I wouldnt see them taking Magee, not with West, Crowell, and Duke Johnson.
