@Jim Giampaoli you know that those points for the defense was mostly backups right. Your way overreacting in the preseason. They will have a great year.

I think this will be the last time I watch a pre-season game. The refereeing is so bad it interferes with the game and renders any conclusions you might draw as meaningless. You would have thought that after last week's fiasco of officiating the league would have done SOMETHING to correct the problem. Watching a so-called football game like tonight winds up being a waste of a few perfectly good hours on a Saturday night. The NFL needs quality refs, not these part-time amateurs and considering how much money they throw around for players you'd think they could spare a few more million on the people who actually control the game - the officials.   Are you listening, Roger G.?  Do you care?

COACH HARB'S didn't seem to concerned in his press confrence,I sincerely hope that was just a front, because it's his job to make sure his coaches are coaching, and you can plainly see they aren't,and if it were me,people would be loseing job's.

5 players were penalized on that play with the fight following the Head Slam, including a penalty to Aiken for reacting. 3 Redskins players were penalized but NOT Robinson, the 1 player whose conduct violated the worst rule regarding player safety. Where is his flag and ejection? How can the refs fail to throw the flag on Robinson yet throw a flag on Aiken and teammates for responding instead? Robinson's conduct was 100x worse than any fighting which followed.

Aiken is gonna be sore from that one...  Yes, 52 should have been ejected.  No way he should have gotten away with that.

Looked like 52 was trying to kill Aikin. I've never seen a hit like that one. Worse I've ever seen.

You're right, 52 was definitely trying to hurt Aiken. That really angered me cause a man's neck can be broken like that. I have not seen a play like that since 1976 when Terry Bradshaw was turned upside down and slammed on his head. I hope the NFL will heavily fine 52. A scary thing to see. There is no place in the NFL for that kind of play. Am glad Harbaugh gave Gruden an earful.

Imma take a wild guess and say Harbs is gonna be short tempered and rude to the press and call all their questions stupid.

...just a hunch

Yeah, well, a lot of that going around these days, ya know.

Good thing that Aiken used his left arm/hand to break the fall on way down, if not doing that, it could have been much worse. I am still angry over that play. I would feel the same way if it happened to another team. I really hope the NFL sees this and takes a hard approach that this should not happen in the NFL. I am glad Aiken seems ok afterwards.

Wow just wow, seriously absolutely incredibly dirty, I never have seen anyone tackle like that in the preseason . The redskins really are a team of losers who will never go anywhere. They played this game like it was their superbowl. Watch them run out of gas and still look like buffoons in midseason. Then we can laugh at them while we are one of the best teams in the league

Just remember, an actual, literal attempt to break player's neck was neither flagged, and likely won't be fined by the incompetent nfl.

Try re-watching the tape on your DVR as I did.  You'll see that Asa never had more than a 2 yard lead on the kicking team and at one point was tripped by a diving grab on the 45 yard line.  That slowed him down as he recovered his balance.  From there he accelerated and only got caught when the guy chasing him made a 2 yard leap at the last moment.  All in all it was a pretty nice return through heavy traffic.
