my high expectations for this team are gone, this years team may worse than last years.NEEDS- a number 2 quarterback, a veteran wide receiver. Very disappointed with tonights showing.

 

Your expectations shouldn't be gone. I think you're mistaking our 2nd & 3rd string guys poor play for being the make-up of this team. Our normal starting group will smash the Redskins based on what I saw. The only thing that is frustrating me is how pitiful our backup guys are

Steve is a monster, we need his chip to stay on his shoulder. Gruden looked scared when Harbs called his dirty player out. As soon as Steve was ejected, the offense looked totally different.

Our normal roster (1st string guys) look very good. As far as our backups, 2nd half of that game was disturbing to watch to say the least.

Exactly. No need for anyone to get depressed here. These last two games just tell us that our depth stinks.

Gilmore is a beast. Aiken & Butler go down way to easy. They don't have good bracing technique when taking a hit. I saw that last season with Aiken

Hard to be positive after watching that game. First sign of return game potential, #1 vs #1 Ravens looked dominant, Hopefully Jernigan is not injured.

Guys ya'll overreacting it's preseason so relax. We will have the last laugh winning during the season while the Redskins will have a losing season.

That awful hit shook us up, why? Because the wrong player was ejected. For a hit like that on Aiken, I hope he's fined big time. It messed up momentum. But starter went out backups in, plus skins had really, really good luck (which they can't count on to be the case in regular season). It's painful, but everyone can learn from this and grow stronger. Losing makes you hungry.

Can't believe how much praise some of us were giving to Butler and Aiken. Those dudes go down as easy as a feather smh. I still got my money on Daniel Brown. Deangelo Tyson is done smh, Gilmore is a beast, Steve Smith did the right thing.

I don't know what game people are watching but, our first sting DEFENCE was getting burnt in the secondary and weren't TACKLEING to well either.

I understand because I watched the same game. However, don't lose your heads. This is preseason. You can't compare this to a regular season game. The focus, speed, and reality of what is on the line is just not there. This is why many people think it should be altered because it just doesn't matter so many guys don't take it seriously. Guys will be cut this week and more next week. I personally feel some of the refs need to be cut. McAulay was past it 5 years ago.

The real game begins next month and we will actually see what our offense can do then.

Am I right or wrong? 100+ points on our D after 3 games. 31 unanswered points. Even in preseason, one does not fumble going into the end zone. Nor should a player get taken down on the one yd. line after a 103 yd. run. Ignite the burners! Where is our secondary? Where is our team? When Washington Qb's can dice us up like this, Lord help us in a few weeks. If Flacco is injured, our season is over. Play Renner over Schaub. It could be a long sad season.

The only thing I look at is the first team offense and defense. They look great so we have nothing to worried about unless they injured. :-)

Keenan Robinson needs to be ejected from the NFL!!! Totally unnecessary tackle. John Harbaugh gets my respect. I am a Steeler Fan 1st and a Ravens Fan 2nd!! and an AFC North fan 3rd. Jay Gruden needs his lard butt kicked!!!!!

Wish there was a replay of the play when Gilmore ran over 3 guys to get in for the TD that was called back. That was one of the greatest offensive plays I've seen us make.

We are soooo lucky that Aiken didn't suffer a broken neck or other career ending injury. When you lift a player up and over in the air and slam his head straight in to the ground, there is no room for interpretation of intent. Don't like fights breaking out in general but if I saw that happen to my teammate, I would have lost it myself and been right in the middle of that fight. Still furious at the cheap hit and still furious at the refs for not ejecting Robinson.

I take that back. He was incredibly gracious and calm given the circumstances. I think people are quick to make a caricature outta Harbaugh.
