Perriman just posted this on his twitter and address it to Sami??

Not really, but that appears to be the expectation.

I swear some of you toss and turn in bed at night worrying about Perriman. Jeez. He has a knee sprain. It does not require surgery. He is expected to be back at some time. I want him healthy and at full speed. Look around the NFL and there are teams dealing with more serious injuries and other issues(Pittsburgh Steelers)then we are. Its still 2 weeks before the first game. Lets wait and see where we are and for the love of god, have FAITH IN YOUR TEAM!

how is what I said relevant with this post?

Day to day does look really bad right now though, curious where this one ranks in terms of how wrong the team has been on medical situations before

From day to day to over a month later. Sometimes you just need to sit back and shake your head.

Considering the fact that he's not even running yet, my guess is no. I'd be SURPRISED if we saw him before game 3.

how do we know hes not running though? They really havent said anything. At first it was hell be back in a day or two then they say it will be a week or two. Harbaugh tells us hell be back at somepoint in preseason, and the latest weve heard is that his return time is unknown. Who knows they could have been just waiting till preseason was done and he could go now and start practicing this week preparing for denver or he could be out till week 3 which everyone seems to be saying. I just hate how they cant give us a legitimate timetable. Everyone else gets one, just not perriman

I'm going by the tweets I've read by Ravens reporters who stated he's not running during practice. I figured since they're tweeting live from practice, it's pretty credible.

Jeff Zrebiec tweet just now, " Breshad Perriman on field catching passes from WR coach Bobby Engram. Making a few moves but not running at all."

Jeff Zrebiec tweet just now, " Breshad Perriman on field catching passes from WR coach Bobby Engram. Making a few moves but not running at all." So we really shouldnt expect much at until maybe home opener i hope. I just worry this offense stalls without any playmaking on the outside. Someone really needs to breakout. Or flacco needs to play like brady and make everyone around him look better than what they are

So now its likely he misses regular season games? Very weird injury situation and also the way in which it was handled.

I'm probably totally wrong here but, there could be a possibility that BP may have been ready for a return last week and maybe the team chose not to let him go so there won't be any game film on him. I know it's a stretch but, it wouldn't surprise me considering how quiet it's been throughout and the fact they don't have to list injuries during preseason. We will know for sure here shortly. I'm hoping!

I can't understand this notion that the coaches aren't playing Perriman so other teams won't have game film on him. First off there are elite WRs in the league that DC have to plan for, so why are they worried about a rookie who can't even practice? Secondly how can we evaluate him and create packages for him when we don't put him on the field?

A PCL sprain takes 6-8 weeks to fully heal. Perriman will likely take the entire eight weeks since he absolutely must be his speedy self before returning to the field.

I wouldn't expect him back on the field until week 3 or 4. I know people are frustrated, but you cannot rush this dude back. You just can't. He'll be fine once he's back on the field. We're lucky the situation isn't as dire as some others around the NFL.

You are right - it is a stretch. There is no way we're keeping him off the field because we don't want teams to have film on him, when he desperately needs to build chemistry with his QB

I can't think of a single case of this in the history of football.

I think that's the biggest thing to understand. What the actual injury is and the nature of the healing and rehab process. I think when the initial report was just a bruise or him just banging hos knee a bit, everyone expected him not to be out long. But if he has a PCL sprain and the time table says 6-8 weeks then that's what it is.

I predicted that we wouldn't see him until the Browns game. That'll give him full recovery and a week or so of practice. Plus the team will have a mini bye coming off the Thursday night game and the coaches will have time to game plan him back into the offense.

I'd rather see this guy fully healthy then to see him have continual nagging injuries like Camp

I think the Browns game is a good assumption. At the earliest, we might see him for the Bengals or Steelers, but the 10 day break after the Steelers game would be a logical assumption right now.
