So, which round should be good to draft Kamar Aiken?

I think he was an undrafted guy  originally with the Bills. He seems to be a better more reliable guy than Campanero who was our 7th round pick. Undrafted diamonds are fine, if they develop, but Ravens need some of their drafted guys like Elam, Brown, Perriman, to work out.

Like I said, give Carter another chance, looks like he's the only one who can stay on the field. Seen him play @ Sac State a lot and he gets better with time & reps. BIG THINGS COME IN SMALL PACKAGES. Isn't that right Mr. Smith. We all (Folks in Sac ) new he was going to the Ravens and I said he's going to make that team. Why? because the other guys are always hurt and can't stay on the field. I'm out.

cannot se Carter be picked over Butler or Waller as far as WR. SO he is battling Campinaro for the spot. If Camp can go....I just dont see Carter making this team unless the Defense will go with 24.

Harbaugh is pretty consistent...25 Offens, 25 Defense, Tucker, Koch and Cox

How long was Jacoby out in 2013 when he sprained his knee? Wasn't it somewhere around 4-6 weeks? That's a normal timetable for a knee sprain, and they heal at their own pace, so they can be hard to predict. I think the misdiagnosis of a "bruise" when it first happened is what's causing so much worry from fans. If they would have said it was an MCL sprain to begin with, we would have expected him to miss at least a month, and I think there would be much less panic.

Well....

As long as he makes it back week 1 and is healthy enough to run full speed I'm not too worried. It's not ideal but things could be much worse.

Let me get this straight. He's not even practicing now and you actually think he's going to be playing Week 1 and running full speed? The Ravens are going to send their #1 pick out there like that?

Although Perriman's OS appears unrelated to his knee injury, there seems to be a lingering question by some people as to whether the Ravens knew about his Osgood-Schlatter condition before they drafted him. In response to that question, I am aware that there are rules or legal expectations regarding disclosing injuries, diseases, conditions etc prior to signing a player contract. Failure to do so had given some team cause to void a players contract in recent years. I think it is safe to assume that the Ravens did "due diligence" in regard to reviewing Perriman's medical history, were well aware of his OS and that this was no big secret Perriman intentionally withheld from the Ravens. Just hoping Perriman is outgrowing this condition and that his unrelated injury is almost healed.

There is a link on here about PCL injuries about 15 posts down. Read that article if you are worried. He basically just needs some time to rest and the Ravens, including Harbaugh are not revealing anything. They are being conservative and not rushing him back, because why the heck would you? Why risk the guy you need most in meaningless pre season hack fests? They are being smart, letting him heal fully, and hopefully he will be ready to go in week 1. I don't think he will need much time to start burning by defenders once he is healthy.

Well whenever Perriman gets on the field, just trying to find a positive out of all of this...at least there won't be any game film on him for opposing teams to game plan against. lol

What a frustrating situation for Perriman and the fans. It's usually not a good sign when recovery timelines keep getting pushed further and further back. We've gone from "a couple days" to "maybe next week", and now basically the doctors are saying "we have no idea." I'm not expecting (at this point) an announcement that Breshad will be IR'd or PUPd, but at the same time I wouldn't be surprised if that happens. Here's keeping fingers crossed big time that our current WRs can stay healthy.

Not playing is one thing, not practicing is another thing....but being shielded (that's a kind word) from the media for a month, as a 1st round pick, is reason for huge concern. The Ravens are shocked and still scratching their heads at the fact that they selected a genic bad knee as a 1st round pick. Had they known. Perriman would not have been their first selection. It' over and done and Mr. Perriman is still a real talent. We are all hoping Mr. Perriman recovers soon and has a healthy and productive career going forward.

having an injury doesn't make somebody a bust. It's not even week 1 yet. One day you will learn to have some patience kid. It's not all about instant gratification. And for the last time .. Perriman is NOT eligible for the PUP!'

More worried about the o-line and Taliaferro injuries. The Ravens have some tall receivers with good speed, that makes them just as much of a deep threat as a speed guy because a lot of teams only have one tall DB if that and jump balls are hard to win if the guy you are defending is 2-5 inches taller than you. If the o-line was good and Taliaferro was healthy we could of beat the other team down with old fashion grind down run plays mixing different styles of running, short passes bring the defense close and then Flacco putting the high deep pass up for the big boys to battle for, speed is nice but we can survive without it. We need the healthy o-line more than the speed guy.

couldn't agree more.

Aside from your last two sentences, this entire post is incorrect. Dr. Bobby Esbrandt linked to an article about Osgood-Schlatter and his current condition earlier in this thread. I recommend reading it, but if you don't, the reader's digest version is this: O-S affects adolescents and is no longer a factor once the bones have stopped growing. There is no link to his current kneee condition, and there are no lingering effects that would affect his athletic performance going forward.

I can't help but think if a 36 year old Steve Smith, Sr. had the same injury he would be practicing by now and an Opening day starter. Time for BP to Sack up!

You do realize Perriman has no say in if he practices or not right?

Coming back ?! Has he actually been here- whatever 'here' actually means regarding that one. Until he DOES actually return, he shall be referred to as Where-e-man !

The idea that the Ravens have receivers with good speed without Perriman is hilarious. They could NOT get separation from the Eagles aggressive man to man last week. They'll look better against DC because they're just not a very good team.

Truth is, they appeared to have misdiagnosed this from the beginning. They need to fly him down to Alabama to see Dr. Andrews for a second opinion. It's been a month, and they don't know what it is . That is unacceptable...and strange.

No need to rush Perriman, he has to wait his turn anyway! The long ball has to be thrown with the safety distracted unlike against the pats! And if they can't utilize the WRs we have now correctly using their size and speed in good routes to create separation because "GOOD" routes help get separation and not just the players ability to get open! Perriman can make like "sponge bob" and soak up some experience from the sideline in the mean time! LETS MAKE HISTORY and 3peat!

I've been patient so far. Another year or so won't hurt. I'll be dead from old age before he starts to play. Someone, please, come over and kick my tombstone just so I know he's in the game.

This whole debate about OS sounds like a big, fat HIPPA violation. He banged his knee...it's not ready to go yet. Bottom line. I hope he can get back soon. I'm worried about it for sure.

We still got the 90 to 75 and 75 to 53 cut downs coming. We may be able to get a returner and deep threat bogey in one guy without having to dangle any future late round draft picks out there for mediocre fast guys in the last year of their deals.

Patience my friends.

Some one said Perriman is not eligible for PUP...why not. If you get hurt you go on PUP....I believ that if a player is put on the PUP before the season then he would not be able to return until after 6 games. Anyone else?
