As a WR he's not much different to me compared to Brown, Aiken, etc honestly.

In the past, our depth always looked great in clean up duty. We're looking like a very top heavy team this year. Praying for no significant injuries.

All our backups wont be playing at the same time like you see now. Once the season starts, hopefully we'll have our whole o-line starting, breshad perriman and everyne else.

How do you know that ? They just recently drafted their franchise quarterback, have pretty good players on defense,  a run game that looks to be solid this year. The Buccs have the chance to be very successful this year and make the playoffs. 

 

They were the worst team in the NFL last year, 2-14 lol. They didn't draft Andrew Luck who is a once in a generation talent. Jameis could be solid this year but change like that doesn't happen overnight, you don't keep the same core of players who went 2-14 and suddenly make the playoffs just because you got Jameis Winston. What happened with Luck was the exception and not the rule, it just doesn't happen.

 

Either way I wasn't literally saying trade for Verner, just that he is the caliber of corner I would like to see us make a run at if we could somehow find a trade partner.

Thompson has kick return experience and has the speed that both Brown and Aiken don't have . I'm not saying he's going to start but he's been pretty impressive for The Bills so far. It's been reported that other NFL teams have been interested in Thompson and The Ravens may be one of them.

Oh I'm agreeing with you. He's a better KR/PR than anyone we have right now and not really a downgrade at WR.

Yeah they were the worst team in The NFL last year and part of reason for that was because they didn't have a good quarterback and their offensive coordinators and defensive coordinators were terrible. The Buccs have  a better defensive coordinators and offensive coordinator this year and are prime to have a better season . Winston may not be Andrew Luck but neither is/was Joe Flacco. It's not out of the norm any more for a rookie quarterback  to help his team win games  and make it to the playoff. Winston doesn't have to be Luck  to help his team win games and it's not like others teams in their division are alot better than them at this moment.

 

I understand you like Verner and that's cool.. He doesn't really fit what The Ravens do on defense and he didn't really   have a great year last year either even though he still is The Buccs best cornerback on the team.

I know the secondary can't cover, but why is tackling so difficult? Are they all secretly nursing injuries?
