Preseason 3 - Baltimore Ravens vs. Washington Redskins

955 posts in this topic

Beyer has looked good in all these pre-season games, playing against 3's & 4's of course. The rest of our 3's & 4's and even 2's haven't impressed.

Great practice squad guy to me.  He'd be one of my top priorities there.  He doesn't do anything special, but he seems solid overall.  I'm very concerned about him playing against legit NFL talent, though.

We've had a couple of game day trolls on here tonight... We know that.

How many times must we say:

  :feedtroll:

DURING REGULAR SEASON, THINGS WILL TIGHTEN UP.

At this rate, Steve is gonna be fielding punts

Webb can't stay healthy

Camp can't stay healthy

So let me get this straight.

You wave fair catch and don't catch it....

THEN, you don't wave fair catch, you catch it, get blown up, and then fumble.

Yeah, we have serious return issues.

THE FO has done a miserable job with depth

That is what typically happens when you pick near the end of each draft. But, despite all that, I'm glad of the job they've done so far.

Aiken, butler, brown are basically the same guy. Keep one of them.

Butler may not make the team but I definitely see Aiken and Brown making the team... I don't necessary consider Brown similar to Aiken. Brown has quicker feet than Aiken and has the ability to get yards after the catch along with him being 6'5". Aikens has strong hands and is a smooth route runner with enough speed to make a play going deep but won't really make any body miss or get much yards after the catch.

The only notable thing Jackson has done in his career as a Raven is get suspended for PEDs.

The starters look good but being so top heavy is dangerous. The depth looks seriously questionable.

And with that, Asa just got cut.

Wouldn't be surprised. He's a terrible corner and his returning extremely inconsistent and risky. Ozzie needs to make some moves at corner. We need some new blood. Out of Asa, Pointer, Vaughn 1 needs to get cut and 2 need to get replaced before week 1.

Who did that?

Yeah, Asa needs to stick with KR. Really could use getting Camp back for punts.

You can't sacrifice roster spot just to return kicks. He is terrible on D, shouldn't really be in consideration.

Couldn't agree more.

Aiken is a lock. I think they all make the team either way and we keep 7

1. SSS

2. Perriman

3. Aiken

4. Campanaro

5. Marlon

6. Butler

7. Waller

Selecting the 53 man roster is going to be really easy for the Ravens coaches.  Cutting 37 Ravens backups should prove easy the way they've played.

I like Campanaro but if he can't stay healthy what good is he really?

We need Perriman healthy too. If we go into Denver with Smith Sr., Aiken, and Random as our starters...yikes.

And KR/PR is proving to be a huge issue. Jacoby is proving to be a bigger loss than I predicted.

YUP, the tone will change when we see the starters play real games.

The way the backend of the roster played, seeing people you want to cut is easy ... its deciding who to keep that gets tough.
