It's easy to get worked up right now but I'm surprisingly calm. Just preseason non-sense at this point. We are REALLY digging into the depth chart. Only things actually concerning me are Schaub and the corner depth.

If we keep Asa, how do we make room for Walker as well?

By keeping six, especially given that Webb can't seem to stay healthy and Jimmy has suffered some freak injuries.

Schaub has just been bad this whole pre season

 

I'm thinking the Schaub vs Renner debate is pretty much over. Once we cut Schaub, he may not play in the NFL ever again.

Only smooth play all night was Flacco to Smith..........everything else has been troubling.

You make a good point. Schaub is just warming up.

 

As badly as he's playing, I have to wonder if he will make the cut.

 

He probably has an expensive contract that will make it somewhat inconvenient.

 

I've read that if he's cut, it won't help the cap at all.  I don't think he's going anywhere.

2 more weeks to right these many wrongs? I am not sure we can right now.

 

Starting offense was shredding them. 17 points on 3 drives if we don't get screwed bu the refs on the Gilmore TD. Don't get worked up over the scout defense. Schaub is concerning and the corner depth is concerning but we were FAR more dominant starters vs starters than the scoreboard indicates.

0% Walker goes to the practice squad. There was a team that was confirmed to be taking him in the 5th round. But I could see him as a game day inactive.

Well, they may be too nervous about putting him there, but this is a difficult situation with the secondary. It is going to be hard to not keep the most capable players.

Weird how people seem to forget that there were members here calling Jimmy a bust when he was struggling before he got it together and became a shutdown corner. 

 

Also everyone is a project player, and every NFL player struggles early before finding their rhythm and becoming good at their position. Unless of course they just don't have it thus the term bust.

It's doable... Keep thinking we were still heavy at safety but keep forgetting bout Elam and Jacobs is obviously gone
