[News] 11 Things We Learned On Joe Flacco, Justin Fosrett And Steve Smith Call

Enjoyed the call very much. Flacco is much smarter and more articulate than many people give him credit for. Forsett (and Smith) had me laughing out loud.

Sounds like a really fun call. Was it recorded so the rest of us can enjoy it?

Sounds like steve and Justin get along great, a home playoff game is a goal for us fans also, and seems Waller has support of our QB... all good stuff

Waller's guna be a BALLER..!

Joe may not be the elitist QB in the league, but he is one of the classiest guys we could ever expect to have for our QB !

Sure hope we can send Smitty off to retirement with some bling for his finger !

When asked what they%u2019ll do when their careers are over, Smith came up with another great one-liner: %u201CI have radio voice, and TV face. Justin just has a radio face.%u201D Priceless to read that...and number 5. Flaccos quote nice to hear it as well.

If Waller has managed to impress Joe, I think we can now put to rest any change of Waller not making the team if he can stay improving over the preseason. TBH I think they should also take a look at that Daniel Brown guy as well. Deandre Carter and Butler has not impressed in games as much as I would like and Camp is having injury issues again. Marlon Brown I hope has a good year but in the end there have been times last year where Brown has totally vanished during games, something you cannot allow happen if you want to be a true #1 or #2 WR. Daniel Brown and Waller are two big guys Flacco can just toss it up to when we face teams with Smaller CBs who can be out jumped. I have said for a long time if Flacco had the big bodied WR types that Rivers have had the chance of enjoying for so many years, I think it wouldnt just propel Flaccos stats but possibly give #5 a shot at MVP honestly.

By default Waller is in because Perriman is not playing. Joe's angle is to give Waller confidence through an interview question. Would Waller have made that grab when Joe threw that intercept into the end zone? That play set the tone for the game.  I supported Waller and his articulate approach which reaches into the way he plays his position.  I want to see him shine in the Washington game this weekend!

Like I said before it is up to Butler and Brown to make the roster for the receivers now. And in my head they will take Marlon Brown because he shined in 2013 and Butler has yet to do anything in Marlon Brown's absence. Waller will make it because of his potential the Ravens are not going to waste a 6th round pick on a guy they knew was raw and needed time to develop they drafted him because of his rare height and speed. I wouldn't be surprised if both Waller and Perriman saw significant time on the field this season because of Trestman loving to use huge receivers like he did in Chicago. Think of the speed and size of Waller and Perriman on the outsides for us and the potential that could be there in the next 3 years.

Yup, Aiken just wasn't tall enough.  I still believe that was a shot "just to see if he could".
