[News] Za'Darius Smith Showing Strong Pass-Rush Potential

Another good draft pickup. He should be able to contribute during the season - we may forget about McPhee in a couple of years! (hopefully)

Mcphee had one job. Rush the passer. I think they are trying to make Smith into an all around linebacker more like Suggs.

Dupree looked slow in his first 2 preseason games but played better in their third game. Smith has looked better than Dupree overall however. Smith gives us some great depth at OLB, which was a potential area of weakness this year. He's going to make some plays and blow some...that's what rookies do.

Give Zadarius time. Can't expect him to be better than mcphee already. Mcphee had a monster game against indy last week. Got a sack on his first pass rush of the year, a pressure on his second, and was drawing a double team by his third pass rush. lol

Z smith did pretty good this past 2 games. I won't say he's better then mcphee last season jus yet. I will say he already looks good enough to be better then when mcphee was in his rookie year. The potential and raven type play is defiantly there to say he's another good mid round pick by Oz and John! I hope he gets a good amount of snaps in the regular season....

Z has better mentors then BUD DUPREE.... Z had Suggs, Doom and Upshaw to learn from.... Bud had Jarvis Jones.... Talk about falling into a better situation! Excited to see Z become a super star while the sqeelers take another bust.... its about leadership and development -as much as finding talent
