Please put Darren Waller with the 1st team offense.

Flacco to Waller will be like Stafford to Megatron!

if we can't blow up the Redskins O-Line, we're in trouble.

The Redskins are preseason super bowl champ so it's a hard task for us....

I don't think Waller is at Megatron level yet... I know the guy is 6'6" but expectation shouldn't be that high yet especially this soon.

I would rather our first team defense face cousins. Griffin tends to make a defense look good.

Also, Washington can run the ball and will provide a good test in that regard.

You compare a sixth round pick who's doing good against backup's backups to a future hall of famer. Edited by Cillmatic

I expect us to steamroll the Redskins. We usually play nasty after getting handed a tough loss. We usually take our frustration out on the next team. Maybe this is all part of Kelly's master scheme. Piss off a team of Ravens and make them extract their revenge physically on a divisional rival in the next game lol.

Be reminded that Antonio Brown was a sixth rounder. Fact, Antonio Brown was the second of two sixth round picks the Steelers made in 2010. However, I believe it is too soon to see Waller run with the first team. If he makes the team I wouldn't be surprised to see him show by mid-season.

No he's not Megatron.

He is taller, perhaps faster at this stage, though not as fast as Megatron when Meg came into the league. Caveat: I believe Megatrons measureables came from a "Pro Day" and not the combine.  That said Meg flat our killed the agility tests. (Pro Day numbers are less credible to me.)

But he is the type of target Flacco should love. Give him time. Give him til week 8 and then you can begin comparisons. I'll settle for a big Anquan Boldin!!!!

I am just hoping we see some good play and some changes to what we witnessed when we played the Eagles and I am praying all our guys get out of the game healthy. It's time to put in some work.

We will be much better this next game.  The pressers were very revealing to me.  made sense.

I believe your right and I know our guys have pride in what they do...

So week 3 is when starters are suppose to play for most of the game; yet we're missing about 6 O-linemen and 3 starters. I wouldn't let Joe play behind an O-line of bums, we all know how that went. Expect the redskin game to be boring, only defensive starters should play but they're going against the WORST O-line in the NFL so it won't be much of a challenge, plus the Redskins are awful in every possible way.

RG3 will be playing but we'll see if he survives the first quarter.

He has never played a full season.

I suspect he never will.

Can we have Ngata back just for this game? Please?

Okay.. That wouldn't be fair to Mr. RGKNEE(the third)..... On another note. Please don't use Flacco too much if the starters on the oline are still hurt.

I don't think the Redskins line is as bad as what you are saying. They have a couple of young guys they're bringing along but I wouldn't call scherff and Moses bad players at all.

If their o-line performs like last week... rg3 wont last long.

You are correct, however he probably would have in 2013 if Shanahan hadn't benched him the final 3 games.

Yea, I expect to see our D line go to work on those guys this weekend. I didn't get the chance to watch all of last weekends preseason, but I tend to agree with you about coming out strong after poor performances.

If Harbs camp is as rough as they say I'm sure this week will be motivation

Hopefully we can have a good showing and builds confidence against a bad team. I'd like to see some good playcalling too.

I don't know why, but your post immediately made me think of the movie Little Giants

RG3's coming off of a concussion and is working behind the worst O-line in the league. If Jay Gruden has an ounce of coaching prowess he'll let Robert sit this game out. They saw what we did to Bradford, and the Eagles actually had a good O-line.

Neither starting QB's could play this week.

I'm interested to see how we "try" to stop their run game. Their RBs looked very strong their last game.

Agreed, also thought some of our players were "sack happy " giving up their gap trying for the qb
