Were gonna lose a good wide reciver ya we like em all but cornerback depth is more important than wide out depth and were deep at tight end with the potential return of pitta we gonna lose one wide out and one is gonna go on that old fashion i r move i like jeremy butler to get a shot on the 53 man roster

boyle could be a steal if he can overcome the drops. he has the knack of getting open which cannot be taught. must work on his hands. reminds me of frank wychek

At this point I think it is down to Marlon Brown or Jeremy Butler making the roster. Smith, Perriman and Aiken are locks. Campanaro and Waller are making strong cases right now in the preseason. The Ravens won't keep 4 tight ends and 7 receivers.... So I think they do keep 6 receivers and with Marlon's injury and Butler lackluster practices recently (even though he did have a great mini camp back in June) my guesssit is Butler is going to be cut and unfortunate because he has a great upside. They will try to sign Butler and Carter to the practice squad but we all know one or both will probably be signed to another team and they have that talent to be situational players on another team. Carolina with their injury to Kelvin Benjamin would probably love to have Butler as their slot guy.

I now remember why the KO vs Yanda contract is a no brainer. KO is always playing hurt and when Yanda plays hurt we dont even hear about it. KO needs to man up and do his job

No way Ravens should let some other team have any opportunity to sign Waller. He would be snatched up in a heart beat and we would live to regret watching him become a beast elsewhere. We need Waller on the 53 man roster and help develop this talented guy in to the playmaker we are already seeing glimpses of. Waller has the body type and athletic potential to become a future star in this league.

To Mike Freeman who doesn't get the Flacco slander - "Do something about it Mike!" Ridicule the pundits that slander him. Are you listening Jamie Dukes, Heath Evans, Bayliss, Prisco and countless other uninformed haters?? Freeman is coming for you!

Risking a lot of negs here, but Pitta is never going to come back and play. He will stay with the Ravens until he's fully rehabbed, making use of the benefits of a contract, but also helping out our very young TE roster, mentoring, providing his input and helping active Ravens TEs mature for the NFL quicker. Then he will retire. However, hip dislocation, especially recurrent is a no-way-back thing. I love Pitta to bits, but it wouldn't be smart in terms of his own future and well-being.

Fingers crossed for Tyrod Tylor with the Bills. He's been a good teammate here, a good Raven, although he never got to play, but he also never ever vented any frustration where the public could hear it and that takes a good character. I am not sure he'll be of the better starters in the league, but mobile QBs have some advantages too. He averaged over 10 yards per carry yesterday. And for people playing fantasy football, he could be a dream come true if he can keep rushing like this in the regular season. It doesn't even matter if his passer rating is poor then. Tebow made good fantasy points too :D

I'm looking forward to the game tomorrow already and the Ravens coming back to Baltimore. SSS has got quite the temper. If Osmele needs some time off, he should take it. We already know what he can do. He already has chemistry with the rest of the line and his RBs. Better rest that Achilles than having issues during the season. Our talented OL back-ups would surely put the extra reps to good use.

If this were true I don't think the Ravens would have placed Pitta on the PUP list. If there is no chance a player is coming back you cut him and take the dead money and move on and keep that extra roster place for a player. Pitta looked great until his hip injury again. Not saying it won't happen again but he is rehabbing it back for Football so I do think he does play football. Would be smart if the Ravens waited another year to play him and not rushed him like I felt they did last time he injured his hip but we will see. Probably won't be the same player but better to just pay the dead money now and not pay him his entire paycheck instead for the entire season if there is that zero chance.

Tyrod looked great yesterday and should have had a touchdown passed if the receiver held on to an easily catch. That receiver won't even make the Bills roster. He should be the starter, Cassel has proven to just be a bottom of the league starter while Tyrod yesterday showed he can move the ball effectively. As long as that O-line holds from him like they did yesterday against a pretty good Browns defense, he has a shot to be a quality starter in the NFL especially when McCoy comes back.

Boyle is going to grow. It usually takes TE, 2-3 years to fully develop in the NFL game. Ask Pitta and Dixon theyll tell you.

WHo else is dying to read Perriman is cleared to play. Encouraging to see Jernigan is back though

Dickson never fully developed... The draft hype was too high for him. He had every physical trait you look for in an every down tight end and he couldn't catch the ball. Solid blocker but blocking only gets you 2nd or 3rd on a team's depth chart.

Really don't want Waller cut. Would love to see him stay for years. 6'6 240 is just what we need. Strong enough to fend off the Db's and tall enough to "Go up and grab the ball". Something we have really never had.

Waller has to much potential to try to sneak through waivers onto the PS, he will make the team....Especially with so many teams with dinged up WR's.....

When I was in Vegas for the Super Bowl I placed a $29 bet on the Ravens SB at 30-1. Go Ravens!

I hope you enjoy every penny of that $870 ;)

Number 5, Tyrod, is looking good for my Dad's team. I hope we play them for the championship and they beat New England every time they play them.

I don't care about the odds I really want the Ravens to beat the crap out of New England 52 to 3 in the AFC playoffs.

Just keep the odds bad enough to keep a chip on the shoulders of our players. The Ravens always thrive when they play with the angry under dog attitude.

ALright just to clear this up Boyle will be fine it takes time just like max williams to develop at the tight end postion secondly Ed dickson was an example of growth taken in 2010 draft before pitta the back up to heap then his break out year in 2011 even catching a touchdown pass from running back ray rice in seattle but injuries happend in 2012 during training camp and he couldnt recover froma thigh injury which every one chalked to lack of confidence while pitta flourished now its reversed and while ed is doing well in carolina as the #2 tight end catching everything and blocking pitta is on the shelf after playing less games at age 30 then ed in two seasons at age 28

Looks like tyrod is making a strong case to be the starter. Tough decision up there in buffalo.

Aren't we playing Oakland too? That's 4 games against teams with the worst odds not 3. Just thought id point that out.

Boyle needs to hold on to that football. That's somethin that can get you in that doghouse real quick.
