Calm down tiger, thats a little unfair. He clearly was able to win games, sometimes people just have that "it" factor, like tebow. now that doesnt mean im saying they are good qbs, there is a differnece.

So you are disagreeing with me by comparing Johnny to Timmy? That's more like making my point for me. As you say they aren't good QBs.

I was saying manziel isn't a good qb, but I won't say he isn't a good football player. He will need a great defense and a good run game to be anything. When Tebow went on that crazy win streak in Denver. It's not bc he was throwing 40 times a game. I remember the Chiefs game, I think he was like 2-11 lol. Sorry, Ive been on a train for 12 hrs, this response might be little spotty

And they beat Pitt and Cinci last year, so you're going to tell me they go 5-1 or 4-2 in which division exactly? Maybe the NFC South, but it's unlikely. They aren't going to be a playoff team until they get a legit QB. It's how the NFL works, you have to at least have mediocre QB play, and the Browns don't have that.

The 2000 Ravens were far superior at every skill position to this Browns team. QB, wr, TE and RB.

Well for one the NFL is far different in 2000 than 2015.

For another, the 2000 Ravens had arguably the best defense ever. Browns aren't close.

And has already been pointed out, Ravens had Pro Bowl talent at RB and TE with quality play at WR. It was a stacked team up and down the roster.

I remember watching the games that year legitimately expecting a shutout every game. Hard to fathom today.... So I looked it up. FOUR shutouts, and seven more games 10 points or less allowed. Browns or any other team for that matter won't come close.

Oh yeah throw in four more playoff games all allowing 10 points or less.

Glad Tyrod earned the starting job, he obviously out-performed every other QB. Show the AFCE what's good, make Br*dy cry for us!

I always enjoy watching to see what past players do their first season away from their old team. For Ngata, it looks like we made a good move letting him walk.

As Ravens fans we all know that with this guys its not always about production, but presence supports his contract...however thus far this season he has 4 tackles averaging 1 per game with 2 passes defended.

Brandon Williams all day! So far... 15 solo tackles/6 assists/21 total/1 pass defended

.......Oh and Ngata's out again with a calf injury. Backup got injured while stepping in so they're screwed.

Niners released Easton the undrafted center we traded to them after training camp.

Time to bring him to the practice squad

Out of all of the players that left this past off-season, I would have to say Tryod Taylor is doing the best.

Even w/ the bad game he had on Sunday, he's still putting together a very good season (so far).

That could invalidate our compensation.

True but the compensation was minimal to begin with. Maybe we can put him on the practice squad now. We need all the insurance we can get on the interior of the o-line with both KO and Yanda pending free agents.

It ended up as a trade for easton so hopefully we may still get the pick

I saw that too. That's weird. I know I saw that they released him but I guess they changed their minds once the Vikings came calling.

Pernell McPhee is doing pretty well in Chicago as well.

It's a real shame that he didn't have 1 more year on his rookie contract. He would have been huge this year to offset the loss of Suggs and I think there's a good chance we would then sign him long term especially with Suggs coming off another major injury and not getting any younger.

I can't lie....I'm rooting against him after he said he was on the best defense he's ever seen. SMH.

I am really surprised that Tyrod is doing so well. I believed he had talent, but this start is surprising to me. Good for him though.

As the saying goes, timing is everything.

Yeah, it's hard to beat being a starter at the most important position in the game.

I have to wonder if Ngata would be performing better if here still in Baltimore... kinda like (nearly) every linebacker that leaves.

i think so too. and I am really happy for him. great athlete and he is showing that he is able to produce on that level.

was a good decision of rex going with him. I don´t think that many coaches would have chosen that option...
