News page fonts.

Hi,

     When i open an article on any news topic the fonts are no longer black on white background but they are dark grey fonts on a dark background which is almost impossible to read. it only happens on this site and only when i open a news article. i am running a macbook with Yosemite. Cannot figure out what to do and would appreciate some help.

I've seen a few complaints about that lately, but we need more information. Is this in the mobile or full version of the site? Can you provide a link to one of the articles doing this? I can't replicate it on my iPad (full site). It's all normal for me.

It's the full version and happens when I open any news item for example:

Not very good with these computers so can't help you too much.

That one looks "normal" to me. I have the usual white background.

Welcome Donald, this could be a browser issue/setting, Per me asking my tech support aka my kids who are into desk top support. I am also passing this on to our webmaster who is MacBook guy.

Having the same issue with both Chrome (44.0.2403.157) and Safari (8.0.8) on OSX 10.10.5 in the news section. It appears to be the Game Pass border ad causing the problem, as the page loads the normal purple Ravens border keeps the center section as a white background but as soon as the Game Pass ad loads, the center section turns to a black background making it next to impossible to read the news posts.

It appears to be fixed now, the Game Pass ad is only showing on the borders and not as the full page background. The problem was occurring any browser I tried, so it didn't appear to just be an issue with Chrome. Thanks for looking into it and getting it fixed!
