Any further news on Marlon Brown - was really looking for him to have a big season this year. Now, not so sure - what is his injury?

I really like him going forward. If any UDFA rookies is going to make the roster it's going to be him and it can definitely happen. After Trawick played so horribly last week the door is wide open for Perry, all he had to do is seize the opportunity.

Not sure, either. However, I've been thinking to myself that he is not so much a lock to make the final cut as some folks seem to make him. I place him more on the bubble at this time. Guess we'll see.

I'm definitely thinking this guy can make the roster. With Elam's injury, an additional spot opened up. With Trawick playing terribly (and has been for quite some time actually), he has a clear-cut opportunity if he "take the bull by the horns"

I think Perry makes the team and in two years....could prove to be a steal... he needs a little time to grow into the position fully but the ability is there and being in BMORE would give him that luxury... I think NICK will be a RAVEN for some time! Another great Ozzie pickup!

Perry has to show up during these next 3 games, not just practice. And if he makes the team he would have to play specialteams aswell, because Ravens already carry a lot of Safeties with Lewis,Hill,Brooks,Levine, Elam(IR). So Perry would realistically steal Trawicks spot on the team if he made enough plays during the preseason.

Perry will make the team. You think twice before you cut a player from The Crimson Tide. Ozzie doesn't want the specter of Paul "Bear" Bryant coming back to haunt him. Perry will step in front of both Brooks and Elam. Forget Trawick. I still twitch over the J.Jones fiasco.

I loved it when we signed him as a UDFA, i really thought fellow Bama player DePriest would have gotten a look, but never made it to OTA's.....He might be a tough player to try to get through the waiver wire and onto the PS....Time to step it up youngster.....

With Brooks back from PUP it isn't an easy task to make the 53 man roster. However, if Perry can show some position versatility and special teams talent in what is left of the preseason, I wouldn't be surprised if he does make the team. I wish him all the best in his effort to make the team.

If he is that good I can see the ravens keeping 5 safeties and 5 corners. A good safety can be used in the nickel package. Right now I see Smith, Melvin, Walker and Webb making the team with Smith and Arrington/Melvin starting. I like Brooks, Hill, Lewis, and I guess this guy Perry. Good players in the secondary don't need a position, just an assignment.

As much as it would be nice to carry 7 receivers, I think the team will end up keeping a guy like Perry over one of the bubble WRs (Butler or Waller, this week) if he can contribute on special teams.

It wouldn't surprise me much if he makes the team. I thought, all along, that he might have had the best chance of all our UFAs to make the final 53, and then Elam went down for the season. Nope, wouldn't surprise me at all.

I know they went after him in the last preseason game. I hope the eagles do the same. Ravens need experienced DB's besides the Ravens HAVE to be getting "tired" of Webb be injured.

I can see him making the team mainly for ST and to add depth. I hope we wont need to much depth so Will Hill and Kendrick Lewis play all 16 knock on wood. I saw a comment about webb I agree I think melvin might take his spot he is 6 ft 2 as well as Lockdown Jimmy smith that would give good size on the outside. Another problem I have with webby is his off man coverage. We need to press on the outside.
