I remember when they had the team name vote and I was happy because I thought that the Browns name should be left for Cleveland if they got another team, which they did. I admit I voted for Marauders. I thought it would be cool to have the B-26 Bomber, which was named The Marauder on our helmet. Martin had a plant outside Baltimore where they were made for World War II. The definition of marauder means to take by force in war. I was not upset that the name Marauders was not chosen because I actually liked Ravens also, and was just glad that Americans was not chosen because I did not think that name had a good connection with the City of Baltimore.
