WYSIWYG...  Lol...  Haven's seen that in a long time... And yes, Joe is definitely that.

WYSIWYG? I must be losing brain cells quicker than I thought. Or maybe I am just not hip enough. Took me a while. What You See Is What You Get. Sheesh. Am I the only person who has never seen that before or am I senile enough that I can't remember that I did?

Yup, you're that old....  LOLOL....    Cuz' so am I.

Wait, you said you had never seen it, so you must be YOUNGER than me.

Tonite the only excitement will be watching the saints D pick off and crush schaub.......and watching our D of course.......schaub is so bad we won't be able to gauge our offensive players very well.....So Bad....

I was not thinking quite so negatively, but I'm also interested in the QB situation...specifically if Renner can play the position. In any event...thank God football has arrived.

I cant wait. There are those that put no stock in preseason games and refuse to watch (Norris and Davis), there will be those who shut it off after the first series when the starters sit, but to me, this game and the last game are the two most exciting games of the preseason. Here is where we see who the next Victor Cruz, Marlon Brown, Terrell Davis or James Harrison will be. All those guys weren't expected to amount to anything. I remember the Hard Knocks episode when Cruz catches 3 TDs against Rex's Jets and even he was so impressed he mentioned it to Tom Coughlin at the closing hand shake. Of course, after that tip toe catch against the Vikings with seconds left in the Blizzard bowl, who doesn't know Marlon Brown. TD was a special teamer who blew up a returner in his first kick return and got noticed and James Harrison was cut a couple times (even by the Ravens) before he stuck with Pittsburgh and look what he has done. I love to watch these young guys out there and see what I think about their performances. And I am sure the Ravens are looking at everyone's preseason as well seeing who looks like they may be a pro ball player. Yep, I love this game and I feel sorry for those who cant get up for this game or people like Norris and Davis who said on air this morning the only reason they are watching is because its their job. Maybe they need to find another job if they dislike football so much.

Steve Smith grabbing that Bengal-baby and throwing him to the ground...I still can't believe that didn't draw a flag...smn...but it sure makes for an entertaining highlight.

Whats the flag?

Whats the flag?

Steve grabbing the DB's face mask clear as day and yanking it to throw the guy down. The Ref's must've been rooting for us in that game.

I think he grabbed the defender's uniform or pads at the front of the neck, not the facemask. A kind of "reverse horse collar." No flag for that!

Watch it again, I'm surprised the defender didn't have an eye poked out in the process. The ref must've been a homer.

Flacco's kids are adorable!  Too cute that they are so unassuming that they get excited about getting Gatorade when they visit daddy lol.

So glad we have Joe Flacco as our QB. I, honestly, wouldn't trade him for Any other QB in the league. And, I doubt, Big time, that Ozzie will spend what it will take to keep both Yanda and KO as our guards beyond this upcoming season, but I wish he would. I know that he has, in his own mind, a total figure of what he will spend for the team's guards, and I'm quite sure that he would have to exceed that figure in order to keep them both. But just thinking of an OL consisting of Monroe at LT, KO at LG, Urshel at C, Yanda at RG, and Wagner at RT is pretty exciting. I just think that's doable. With savings from dead money from Rice, Pitta, and saving money by letting Zuttah go, and Joe's restructuring. We really could possibly have enough money to make this happen. I, actually, think that Urschel would be an upgrade over Zuttah (and be cheaper). I think this would be a pretty darn good Ol, with Monroe probably being the weak link. I don't see it happening. I'm just saying that I'd like it to.

Ryan Tannehill strikes me as being pretty overrated. The guy is a relatively smart player and doesn't make mistakes, but he has far below average arm strength and accuracy, and his team asks VERY little of him. He has some great weapons that pile up the dink & dunk yards for him on a ton of short and intermediate passes. He is one of the worst deep passers in the league despite having targets who would be a dream for some QBs. I don't think he's as good as his passer rating, his passer rating is a product of a safe and friendly system that asks him to make easy throws.
