[News] 10 Ravens Greats To Be Honored During Games In 2015

I got to see McCrary's whole career and if you ever wanted to see the definition of what they mean by a "High motor" player, he was it. The guy was all out, every play, all the time. He along with Rob Burnett were some of the bright spots on a defense that was spotty at best in those days.

What I saw was a great defense and he helped make it great.

When Ray comes to the Chargers game he will remember the game at M&T where Rivers sent us to the loss culminating in a last game playoff effort against the Browns with hope that SD lost to KC. That all happened and no one is better to send us the message of light at the end of the tunnel than Ray.

It says Ravens greats...Not players. There are so many. How do you finish the list without feeling someone else should be there?

Why not honor Art Modell at the final game as Sami suggests and invite other greats (some won't be able to attend due to prior commitments and announce their names during the Art Modell celebration. Like Art said in his speach to the team after winning SB 35 "forget the front office." It all was because of his players and how hard they played for him. You could have McCrary and others get their recognition in Art's honor. I think Art would be proud.

"Week 16 vs. Steelers (Dec. 27) Christopher James McAlister He has more interceptions in his first two years. 1. Chris McAllister

A true Raven at heart, McAllister was the true definition of what a prototypical cornerback should be and do. McAllister was chosen 10th overall out of the University of Arizona in 1999. McAllister has been paired with the likes of Duane Starks, and Samari Rolle to form one of the NFLs%u2019 scariest duos at cornerback during their respective times. For his career McAllister has amassed more than 350 tackles, two forced fumbles and 26 interceptions and one heck of a legacy. Any Ravens fan would be more than happy to get a player of McAllister%u2019s caliber back on the team. Despite playing his final season for the New Orleans Saints, McAllister was a Raven throughout his entire career and many people in Baltimore will always see it that way as well. http://cover32.com/ravens/2014/04/17/the-best-cornerbacks-in-baltimore-ravens-history-formed-an-epic-dynamic-duo/
