Preseason 1 - Baltimore Ravens vs. New Orleans Saints

I am really liking the Ravens defense so far but I think the real test of if they can be as strong against the run without Ngata will come next week against Philly since they have both a great line and a great RB to test the Ravens.

Keeping an eye on the bears to this point McPhee has not shown up

How far along is the game?

Also since it's the pre-season I have to ask: do you mean that he literally is not playing (a la Drew Brees in this game) ?

Really like Guy on the Dline as well.  Really happy we resigned him I think he provides tremendous depth. Can anyone tell me how Davis has fared on the Dline so far?

Waller is the sneakiest quick they come

Waller isn't very quick. Its hard to not telegraph your moves and be sudden when you're that huge BUT his long strides are very hard to keep up with

Fast but not quick.

The Saints have a good line and RB. How good is questionable, but they're no scrubs. Lawrence Guy has been a beast.

Our opening drive was awesome and I know Trestman doesnt want to throw the whole playbook for the whole league to see but I sure hope we dont use the I-formation as much as I saw. Seems like we do very well in the singleback formation with an extra receiver. I didnt read all the comments but is anyone else excited from what Crockett has done so far. Looking sharp.

I can't believe people said we should get rid of Juszczyk because he wouldn't be involved. That really makes me laugh right now. He was more involved this game than when Kubiak was here. Lol.

Maybe it wasn't people but more like one guy. I can't remember anymore. Still funny.

Juice will never leave Baltimore - he won't cost much but can do lot of good things in that O. We like players of that kind.

I'm really liking what I'm seeing out of Jensen.  Dude is nasty up front.

How much faith do you have in Juan Castillo now?  Has he failed to develop an Olineman yet?

Goes to show there's only so much you can do with Gino, AQ, and Oher on your line.
