You could take Lil Waynes opinion into consideration. How many times have the "all knowing" sports analyst been wrong? Remember we were supposed to only win 4 games all year and the Browns were supposed to win the division and the Cowboys and Patriots were supposed to be in the Super Bowl...

Weezy is an established artist, not a one hit wonder. I don't like his music anymore, but he isn't some "flavor of the month."

ok lets think about it how many times has he been in a sports magazine... alot. I dont think they were asking him or talking to him just to do it or because he is lil wayne..aka best rapper a live...no ****... its becuase he knows his stuff...if u are a fan of him u know he knows about every sport...and his favorite shows are sports shows... example sport center...yeah he could be right ...could be wrong but he does have a very credited opinion and prediction...they say it all the time D fense's win the playoffs..they said it last night...thats what wayne said...and i think we have the best D fense hands down.....we just need it to keep showing up...

My biggest issue with him is, there's almost NO WAY he improved so significantly as a lyricist in only a few months; ghostwriter or no ghostwriter, though, my other issue is how annoying he is as a PERSON when he's on TV, and how a lot of his punchlines aren't really funny, just STUPID and his verses are really random.

Lots of non-sequiturs (look it up) -- he's like rap's version of The Simpsons' Ralph Wiggum.

Ehhhhh...that's debateable. During that same era, No Limit Records had more hits, and Roc-A-Fella just plain dominated the charts. Actually, all of Def Jam Records (including Roc-A-Fella as an imprint, as well as Ruff Ryders and Murder Inc.) pretty much took over all of radio and almost every single Top 10 album (not just rap albums) came from Def Jam, for a string of maybe three years from 1998-2000.

Either way, to each his own. You like him, I hate him. It's whatever.
